Those comparing to BF3 need to get a life because these are completely different genres of games. Just because you are soldiers doesn't make it the same kind of game. MW series is modern realistic arena shooter (realistic LOOKING, arena combat game) while BF3 is more along the lines of a dumbed down or soft-core targeted ARMA. PREFERABLY nothing changes, only imrpoves or expands. PREFERABLY most killstreaks still remains, and instead of 2 five-slots and 2 seven-kill-slots, there would be 4 of each of those. That's my opinion on it - I could not be more pleased that it: 1: uses IW4 and builds on MW2 so black oops IW3 modded treyarch trash doesn't happen to Modern Warfare series 2: looks and plays like the game that is still the most popular cod, MW2. If you want a war simulation, this isn't the game for you. If you have no skills, this definitely isn't the game for you. If you like fast paced action and amazing kills and death cams, this IS the game for you. All the people who like blops better than MW2 = people with no skills. I played the free weekend of blops and got first place in FFA on my first game with default class. I was level 8 by the third game and never went below second place after that. I made fun of those noobs, uninstalled, and went back to MW2, my precious... All the people who like COD4, similar. I got cod4 after MW2. And I crap all over all that game has to offer. Even if you deny it, you know its true. I have yet to meet the person who is GOOD at the game and say they will not buy MW3 this Fall. Running up and down the map marathon>lightweight>commando pro equipped killing "noobs" with the UMP? Or no scoping/quickscoping people with sleight of hand and/or steady aim? MW2 takes no skill what so ever. You own in one game then get killed by idiots in the next one only to find that your precious skills are to no use against people running up and down shooting you in the back with the spas 100ft away, or knifing you from the same distance. I've been playing MW2 since it's release and i'll continue playing it after MW3 is released. It's fun to sit back at the end of the day and just kill people. Further, like i said dude, it is an easy game to play, and THAT is why it takes skill and precision to be gloriously victorius. I am constantly 2x the kills of the rest of my team. Constantly I finish games 1500 points in FFA while second placer has barely 500 points... Skill. It isn't hard to PLAY, it is hard to play against all the other people who have it as easy as anyone else... do you see my point there? It's not about tapping buttons, it's about executing chains of kills without dying. It being easy, is what makes it so hard. That makes sense, yes? And if you cry about the ump, you must be playing on a console... the more accurate a weapon is with MOUSE, the more aiming skill you need to use it. g18s are noob on PC, UMP is not. Ump requires dead-on aim. It's not hard to aim, but notice how many mouth breathers use g18 and other akimbo on PC... I'm playing on PC, are you guys? THAT might be why you don't understand? There is no aim assist on PC... That might be all it is - the difference between PC and Xbox.
