SA:MP DM Tournament II

SA:MP DM Tournaments are designed to put 16 SA:MP players against each other to test their skills.

All games are one-on-one DM style.

Tournament is now hosted by AndySerb and lt_yao and was started and originate from the idea of Edmachine.

 

 

Rules

 

#	Rule
1.	Competitors are NOT allowed to use cheats or hacks. If a player is seen cheating or hacking, he/she will be disqualified from the tournament AND banned from the server.
2.	If the player fails to appear to matches 3 times, he/she will be disqualified.
3	If the player disconnects from the server 3 times during a match, he will automatically lose the match and not gain any points from the match.
3.1	Event organisers should be present to watch over the match and take care of any potential hack threats/annoyances
4.	Deathmatch Rules:
4.1.	The first person to score 20 points(25 1/4 final, 30 1/2 final, 50 final) wins the match.
4.2.	Players are not encouraged to leave the designated Deathmatch Zone while the match is being played to ensure that the kills are counted correctly.
4.3.	Any kills outside the designated Deathmatch Zone will not count towards the total kill count.
5.	Players, who are not competing in the match are NOT allowed to use the Deathmatch Zone in which the match is being held.
6.	All matches will be held in the GTANetwork SA:MP Server.
7.	All GTANetwork SA:MP Server rules apply.
8.	If a final isn't played in 7 days, unlike in other matches where it is randomized, a shared win will be given if both cannot come.

Here we are, restarted.

 

Continue playing, Yao will be incharge of reminding you all to play, you can see who advanced how much up in the first post. There ain't going to be no battles for spots between 5th and below, only the top 4, as the interest is not very high in SA:MP these days and it's hard to get together and do the current matches as it is.

 

The scoreboard will be updated at the end of the tournament, and the table will be posted into the new tournaments as they come along. Hall of fame too.

 

You can find out what matches are not complete yet below the scoreboard which like i said stays empty til the tournament finishes. Then i'll count everything and edit it.

 

There will be also an overall scoreboard, which will be combined with the results of the first tournament and the second once the 2nd is finished. That will be repeated into the following tournaments.

 

Also, since Ed resigned from the tournament as well, lt_yao gets into the semifinal with the bye in the 1/4 final.

Good to see this back, so there are still games that have not yet been played, people will be reminded to play them.

 

As for that whole Kanja and Mobbg incident I'll put it like this: Either you replay the match Kanja or get your ass kicked out of here, I'm not toying with you. You claimed that you won even though you left in the middle of the game and never returned.

Ok, this has been long due, the first round needs to be finished by 17th, so the 3 matches.

I sent em too. Just got a response from TigerTanker, saying his gaming comp died, so he won't get it repaired til march, but that he will probably buy one which can run IV too in march.

 

That means SRS Gronf is through to 1/4 final to play the defending champion, AreXi.

 

Shame about TT, i felt he can win this.

One thing, Andy, when someone gets through to the next round because of a forfeit, the shouldn't/don't get 20 points for it.

In the last DM Tournament, i got through two rounds because of forfeits when my opponent didn't show up and i didn't get any kills added making my ratio smaller. So, although i got third, i had a worse killrate than pretty much everyone else.

I fixed that by adding +20 points to the semifinalists and 10 to the 1/4 finalists of the last tour, should cover up the difference.

 

Mobbg defeated Kanja on randomizer 25-24 as they failed to play, Mista defeated Banana 25-22 on randomizer and now the 1/4 finals can commence

 

Yao is in semi final awaiting the winner of match Gronf vs Arexi

 

While the other two are GC vs Mista and dice vs Mobbg.

So GC and dice can play their semi final when they are free, it's /dm 32 anicent town, and it' first to 30.

 

For the final, it will be first to 50 like in the previous tour!

 

Also, last 1/4 final match, unless AreXi doesn't respond fast when will he play, i guess Gronf will be through to the semi, but i feel like 25-nilling the match of the defending champion a bit stupid.

Well, hell, either way works for me. But if you could find a server that works on pretty much the same terms as the GTAnet one, I'd prefer that. Finding a time that suits us both can be tricky, so I'm content with the other option too.

Other option would suit me best. If we decide to go with the "other server" option, i wouldn't be able to play until the 6th of April for personal reasons.

I dont mind sharing the win with a fellow SRS member, rather than annihilating him
