Drakic's DYOM Missions

In this topic, I'll post all my DYOM missions, and keep it updated with all the new missions I make. Each 8 DYOM missions I create, I'll upload on GTAGarage as DYOM Packs. Here's a table with all the missions being made, and what are already done:

I'll try the first mission you made. I'll edit later, and tell what's it like.

 

 

Ok, first of all, I didn't finish the mission cause my game crashed (It doesn't deal with the mission, gladly)

 

I remember you said that you should recruit the 2 officers near the police car. Well, they can't be using animations if you want them to be recruited. You can only recruit people if they are set to "no animation" ( I think... Actually i don't think you can recruit people at all )

 

I like how you set up the police parking lot!

 

Also, your mission was one of the few that had proper spelling/no run-on sentences. I have to congrats for that:

 

There should be a short cutscene in the beginning showing why they are killing drug dealers. I mean, cops just don't go around and kill people for no reason. Or thats maybe how they do things in San Andreas... hmm...

 

I also think the mission should be set to medium. I don't die on easy missions. Its mainly cause of those 2 Vagos with the MP5's. I killed the main one, but I couldn't get back in my car cause my health was too low, and his bastard friend was shooting next to the car door. He killed me soon after...

 

Overall, it was a really good mission, better than most of the amatuer missions. I look forward to the rest of the missions, and the mission pack!

Well, the reason I set the animation is because I didn't want them recruited from the beginning, as soon as they're spawned. So I added an animation to them, and if you tag them (push them, hit them....) they'll join your group and help you during the mission.

I was making it without spelling errors too, and none of them will be in future missions.

You're right, I've set it to medium.

Thanks. Next mission will be with a SWAT officer and a sniper rifle, who goes around the city and kills criminals, drug dealers, gang members, from a distance, and your vehicle will be a SWAT Tank.

Rhino Cruise. Played it. Loved it.

 

It really must have took a long time to make that mission, huh? It was excellent, they need more DYOM creators like you and leoncj. Many people who make DYOM missions often make with improper spelling, WAY too many bugs, and sometimes they are almost impossible to beat, unless you use cheats (which they want you to do, and is a sign of pure n00bism ).

 

Again, I think there should have been a short cutscene. Cutscenes always declare what you are doing in the mission .

 

Overall, I think this deserves an award. I had fun too!

 

(P.S, that guy at the end of the mission, he looked alot like Hitler...)

You're right, most people do that, so I was trying to make it not too easy, and not too hard, and without spelling errors.

Thanks. I was trying to make the leader look like something like Hitler, to show how cruel he is, and to cause a riot in LS.

Played the two missions, and had fun. But Dstrickt is right, a backstory and cutscenes will make things even more interesting.

 

And even I hate the unbalanced missions some of the ppl make. Shooting a single enemy 100 times to kill him is no fun, and all the time he is hitting u with an accuracy of 100
