About windows 7

I installed windows 7 then gta 4 and patch 1.0.0.4 everything was fine,but i had a little lags when I press some control buttons and when dark night come i mean no sunset or sunrise i had a strange lag something like stuttering , strange because on xp i had bad performance only when is sunset or sunrise so i tried very things and i did those steps and now i'm amazed:

 

1.Go in control panel , find a power options and make your plan for power and select high-performance ,this is not dangerous it will take a little more electric

 

2.Again in control panel find productivity tools then visual effects settings and disable unnecessary effects

 

3.Reinstall the game then install patch 1.0.3.0 about me this is the best patch

 

4.If you're with ati card download and install ati catalyst 9.12 hotfix but before that clean with driver sweaper,in catalyst control center disable AI and wait for vertical refresh,about nvidia i don't know sorry

 

5.Find,balanced your memrestrict number from Rockstar topic in troubleshooting,also use gamebooster program
