Well, there are a few possible reasons. One is that they simply did not think of motorcycles when developing the game. I also believe that once Vice City was created and motorcycles existed, since GTAIII is supposed to be more recent than VC, I think it was said that motorcycles were banned from Liberty City in 1999 or 2000 (since Liberty City Stories takes place 1998 and has motorcycles, and GTAIII is 2001 and does not). The Purple Nines Glitch- Does it occur in PC version as well? And has there been a verified fix? EDIT: Also I read somewhere that the hooker's will not respond in Australian versions of the game. My friend claims he can never get them to work yet with mine I can always get them in. My GTA is the one with a (possible) red esperanto on the front and some guy holding a pedestrian hostage while holding a pistol and having a crosshair/sniperscope pointed at them. The Purple Nines-glitch does occur on PC versions of the game. Two fixes are at Demarest's GTA3 and Vice City Game Fixes. One fix listed is instructions on preventing it when starting a new game, the other is a mod that will let you kill Red Jacks instead of Purple Nines if the glitch is affecting your game. I read somewhere that the hooker's will not respond in Australian versions of the game. My friend claims he can never get them to work yet with mine I can always get them in. The Australian version of GTA3 did contain active hookers, and was banned because some dickhead considered that being able to waste them after using them was promoting sexual violence. The game was then re-released with the hookers disabled. This occured before the PC version of the game came out, and the censorship is also in the PC version. The PC game will not have active hookers if (have told Windows that) you are in Australia, and only early PS2 versions will have active hookers. The same also applies to GTAVC. Just like residents of Aus can tell their Windows they're not in Aus to get hookers anytime they want. I'm still on 98% and I'm SURE I'm done everything needed to 100% (mission completed 73/73, if somebody gonna ask did I missed some of Kenji's missions)! I've been playing GTA3 for a long time now, and I think I could count my encounters with it on my fingers. One trick I heard a good while ago (and it works) is to wait outside Catalina's mansion, and at some point during the day, it will go by. Worked like a charm the very first time. And the BF Injection can be found in Hepburn Heights, at the place where you picked up Misty to take her to Joey (the mission name escapes me at the moment). saintdave Posted February 3, 2008 Share Posted February 3, 2008 Best method for me to get the Mr. Whoopee is to get it during/after the mission I Scream, You Scream. Your meant to trigger a bomb in the van when the Leone's approach it but the game will also allow you to pass the mission if you get out of the van and kill them yourself.
