AnEvilVet
I don't know if anybody here has suffered this problem but whenever I try to create a FreePlay multiplayer game on the 360, it links me straight to a game already in progress. This can be quite annoying especially when I leave and then rejoin the same game several times in a row. Am I just not doing the right thing to create a game? A J
selecting custom match and making one private slot normally works with other game modes. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/438099-creating-a-freeplay-game/#findComment-1059733996 Share on other sites
Booze
Not being able to choose which game to join is annoying and a GTA thing. If you want to create your own game, you can do as ajbns87 said. The private slots can be any number, it depends on how many randomers you want in your game. Selecting 10 private slots for example leaves room for 6 people to join as they like. If you invite somebody, that person will take up a private slot. If you want to join a game that's already in progress (so you don't have to wait for players), but you don't like the one the game keeps throwing you in, you could change something in your preferences (change the auto-aim setting, turn the cops on/off, turn friendly fire on/off). Or, you could try asking the people in the room to kick you, but that's a long shot. I advice you to send friend requests to nice people you meet in free mode. If you have a lot of them on your friends list, chances are there are at least a couple of them online at any given time, so you can join their games.
