Animals and Children, why not?

I think LA Noire pulled off children perfectly. Cutscenes and limited interaction within a nonhostile invironment to add to the story. Keep it that way R*

 

As for animals. I LOVED hunting in RDR and I don't see why we shouldn't bring them back. ESPECIALLY if we have countryside to work with. If its an all urban environment, add some birds, raccoons, squirrels, etc.

 

I never said anything about no hunting... you would be abule to kill police dogs and that is probably about it.

 

Children could be in cutsceens. Could be in yards blocked off from the street...

Seriously, i love animals. I f.....n love them. I prefer to die myself than kill a mouse. Really.

But it's gonna be top fun if you have animals and children to run over with your car as well

But of course i don't think so. Rockstar already has enough trouble to add animals and especialy children to a GTA game.

Children would not be a good move, would cause a lot of negativity, and besides there's no point of child's in GTA, maybe in cut scenes only, but no child pedestrians.

Children, eh no thanks. Maybe young adults, like 17-19? With the addition of a skateboard, they could add some teenage loiterers doing tricks off stairs and whatnot as a random encounter, followed by an angry security guard that tries to incite a fight. You are then given the choice to intervene by either beating up the punks or the guard, earning a few bucks afterward like in Red Dead Redemption.

We had animals in the trailer. Kids have been in RDR (Jack) and in LA Noire (in some cases).

I want animals, children and handicapped in GTA. Freakin hell it is a game, and GTA is supposed to be sick. Why do you think it is rated (18). I wanna kill some kids, throw some wheelchair off the building and ram an animal with a car; just for the fun of killing. The posses in RDR had attack dogs at a certain level, and you couldn't hide to escape if the dogs were alive.

Well just think about it this way. Imagine RDR without animals. Weird, no? It would definitely feel lacking and terribly lonely.

Now imagine GTA with no animals. Doesn't make a difference either way.

 

You're not going to see farm animals in v. There's going to be dogs and birds and that's it really.

I think I changed my mind about children ingame. Earlier I stated I'd like no children in GTAV, then I stated that people are hypocritic for wanting to be able to kill grown-up humans and animals but no children and now I do like to have everything else in the game.

 

1.

Animals, absolutely, makes the widespread countryside even more interesting! Just like in RDR and this will make room for minigames. Maybe hunting or something! I will never hunt in real life, so an addition of ingame hunting will make my (GTAV launch-) day or year!

 

2.

Children. Hell yeah, would be a great addition to the GTA game. I understand people who don't want to kill children on purpose, so don't kill them on purpose. It's a game however, so you can do anything what you want. The devs could also make the children "unkillable".

 

3.

Elderly! Yes they were already in GTA-series right? Make them bad drivers or something! Make them whine about everything in the GTA world.

 

4.

Everything else too?? Handicapped. Well. Everything is all fine by me. It's a fricking game.

So then don't kill them or run them over? The option is given to people, but if you are not cool with it then don't? Besides, it is a video game so it isn't happening in real life. If we are going to debate whether implementing children goes too far because (for some people) the boundary between the videogame world and real life world is fading away, don't we need to debate whether we are allowed to kill any living being at all?

is just one of the biggest hypocritic comments I have ever read. So people have a choice to kill or not to kill an animal but when talking about children this same rule doesn't apply because you don't think it's good to kill children?

 

I know this is just a topic where we are free to give our own opinion but sometimes people have to bring up better reasoned arguments for their standpoint/position.

 

Anyway, what is so wrong to have the option to kill children/teenagers/adults/edlerly/handicapped/animals? If you don't want to do it you don't have to. If you do it on purpose it happened on purpose. You might feel sorry for doing it, but you realise right after that it's just a game.

With handicaped people i meant them too, but i think that would be f*cking stupid to include them in the next GTA, they can't anything for handicap and if you want to kill them for that you need to be a f*cking psychopath.

Once again, someone calling someone else a Psychopath because they want to be able to do what they want in a game, you cannot value any life over another's, handicap or not, child or adult, old or young.

Having animals in the game would be fine.

Imagine driving or walking around Mount Chiliad (or whatever it is called in V) and being attacked by a bear.

That would be very funny.

And it can be quite creepy if it happens at night with the wind going....and than you realize, you have just a meelee weapon with you...

 

 

But I do not want children in the game.

It's just not right.

 

 

I only kill people in GTA when on a mission and they attack me.

I even have a guilty conscience when I roll over a ped by accident.

 

But thats just me...
