Animals and Children, why not?

f*ck it, ya know. It's GTA. I wanna be able to kill dogs, cats, goats, cows, mooses (meese?), teenagers, children, even babies. I want to be able to walk into a hospital and just drop a grenade in the baby room. It's so messed up, but DAMNIT THIS IS AMERICA!

Children and animals would obviously add to the realism, but being able to hurt children in a game is a bit much.

 

Picture this: You point a gun at the head of a kid and you press R1/RT to shoot them. But instead of pulling the trigger Niko simply says "what the f*ck am I doing" and lowers his gun.

 

This is a fantastic idea!

It would be a realistic way to keep children from dying in game! You sir are a genius, this pretty much solves everyone's issues with children.

Until the moment the player gets into a car, but when is that ever going to happen?

i never thought of that...not. Its simple, just give children good reflexes and they are able to move out of the way quickly, and having them only in certain locations.

Then it feels like I'm playing MC:LA. No thanks.

Not those sort of reflexes haha, they were just stupid.

If children are in a school for example, and you drive in there, you wouldn't be able to go awful fast due to obstacles and such anyway, providing ample time for a child to move out of the way.

You can shoot and skin a dog in RDR. You can burn it, as well as blow it up. Seems fine to me.

@tyetotheworld No people keep talking about killing dogs and children like fu*kin crazy I mean who kills there own pet I see wild animals but not pets and K9 police dogs would be the only dogs or wild crazy stray dogs. Imagine if you lost your. own son children are still young so they should be able to move out of the way faster same with cats but I dont know another way to put dogs in as a pet?

GTA Lion King: In RDR, you could kill your family dog Rufus if you wanted to but you had to reload because you killed a member of your family .

Not to mention all the other dogs who appear to have owners you could kill in RDR. One time, there was this dude playing fetch with his dog and I threw dynamite at them. it was very amusing. Another time, I shot the dude and attacked his dog with a knife.

Its nothing new for it to come to GTA imo.

I voted for both but I very much doubt it will ever happen. I agree it would make it more realistic and I personally don't have any more of a problem slaughtering computer generated children than adults.

 

Problem is the media would jump all over it and thegame would probably get banned or something. It would upgraded from a "murder simulator" to a child killing simulator. Jack Thompson-esque characters claiming you play as a paedophile and role is kidnap and abuse kids when not shooting up schools. And I'm sure stupid animal rights groups would complain too.

Plus, imagine the bad press it would bring... I mean SA got it for something that wasn't IN the game... IV got MADD crazed for a bit even though bar tenders tell you to get a taxi... etc.. etc... having kids in their probably wouldn't help. Maybe they can call them little people. Animals...
