Vice City / San Andreas or maybe BOTH?

Guys, we can see that the clues are pointing to both Vice City and San Andreas. People are arguing which one is going to be the neXt GTA (that's what R* wants) and actually, the neXt Grand Theft Auto would somehow include both of these locations?

That makes sense really.

Mentions to previous games/other cities could be hints, but equally, they're just as much shout-outs to previous games. That, and it saves the R* think tank from coming up with new city names in development for fleeting mentions.

They are alluding to both because they are GTA, but they will only do one at a time. You are seeing such heavy regard for these places so that When Vice City and San Andreas come out, IV is still relevant to them. Something that III didn't get right.

There is nothing directly hinting toward either of them being next. Billboards and what characters say mean nothing at this point.

 

If either of those, Vice City will definitely be the next one. It makes perfect sense for Vice City to be next.

The next GTA could somehow include both Vice City and San Andreas, but I think the game itself will have an emphisis on one of the locations and it will probably involve travel to the other for some of the missions (like when you travelled to Liberty City in GTA San Andreas). I hope that the emphisis is on San Andreas in the next game as they did San Andreas well in the GTA III era, they can improve apon it so much in the 'IV' era.
