djb5787
OK, before I begin, I know others have had the same problem, so I apologize for making another post for this. However, there is no real fix that works for me that I have found. I just wiped my hard drive, reinstalled my OS, re-updated my system completely. Everything that has been recommended I have done. I was able to install the game completely and when I go to run it, I get a CMD at startup and it automatically crashes. This game is the retail version as well. And i have read that my video card is not a "gaming" card, but I can run any game on it with no problems with high graphic quality, including Bioshock, Borderlands, Left 4 Dead 1&2, Saints Row 2, etc... Thanks in advance for any help in this matter. mkey82
Bioshock - pretty old game and nothing special graphics wise Borderlands - pretty simple, seen it running maxed out on cheap PCs Left 4 Dead 1&2 - source runs on everything Saints Row 2 - piece of sh*t So no, no good comparisons here. Have you updated the game? That card is weak, but GTAIV should run at least. Check if there is some missing driver for your MOBO, this may be the case as it happened a few times with AMD boards. Look on the manufacturer's website.
