Racing League 2010 ||| SA:MP

Racing League 2010 is a year long racing event for the racers from GTAF and GTANET Server regulars on SA:MP.

 

 

 

Info

• There is a total of 15 main drivers at the moment, but in case they cannot make it, replacements can come in, however, their points do not count toward any team.

   

• There are 5 teams and each consists of 3 drivers.

   

• The time the races will be held is 19 GMT on Saturday's.

   

• There is a total of 35 tracks, which will go in a league system, with each race being done twice, for a total of 70 races.

   

• Final 71st race is called san-andreas-lol and it really makes you lol, as it is an entire state marathon, and is set to be the hardest race.

   

• All the races give you the same amount of points, except the san-andreas-lol final race, in which all the points are doubled and/or tripled. There will also be special race events for additional points during the year, so pay close attention to the GTANET server, its IRC, and this topic.

   

• Nitrous oxide is banned, cheating and hacks are bannable too, so if we see anyone using them, we will kick them from the race

   

• If your vehicle goes on fire, or flips, do /fix and/or respawn the vehicle and proceed to the next checkpoint. Do not give up if something like this happens, but if you do want to just type /exit.

   

• Another reason not to give up is because you win points even by being last. Out of 12 drivers, winner gets 12 points, second placed 11, third 10...and so on until the 12th who wins 1 point. 13, 14 and 15 stay pointless.

   

• If you timeout or get disconnected during the main races...can't do much about that, sorry, get your connections ready and stable when the race is.

   

• Griefing 3 times on purpose means you will be kicked off the tournament.

   

• This event is run by Greasepalms and AndySerb, for any issues, PM them or contact via this thread.

   

• Race list and their information and settings for 1 on 1's can be found bottom of the post. Once a race is completed, it will be marked with COMPLETED, and there is a lap record for you to beat while doing 1 on 1. Races will be done is the order posted, from easy to hard, then repeat, and then the final 69th ''very hard'' race.

San-Andreas-Lol Guide

 

• The race will automatically prompt change you your vehicle as you reach the checkpoint given on the screens below!

• The race starts at /bayside's tunnel. Once there, equip yourself with food and

PATRIOT, as this will be a long one.

Once you arrive at the start, type /ready. The start is on top of the tunnel.

After a long drive, you arrive at Verdant Meadows. Spawn yourself a nice handy HUNTER and proceed up.

Once you land, the STRETCH limo and enjoy the Tour de Las Venturas.

Back to the airport, you spawn yourself, or just take a nice shiny SHAMAL and fly around the country to Los Santos Airport.

From the airport, you get SANCHEZ and you roam free the countryside

Near the bridge, you get SQUALLO, and drive to Los Santos Beach.

On the beach itself, you take EUROS for another countryside tour, this one leading you into San Fierro.

At the north east SF Pier, you abandon your vehicle, and start swimming to the middle island, ''Grease Island''

From the Grease Island, you notice a big boat and a small boat. Swim to the small boat, SPEEDER and take it.

Once on land, spawn SABRE and drive through countryside towards Vinewood.

With the Sabre, you will drive to a very familiar location from the start of the first mission in San Andreas. You now park Sabre and take a BMX

Grove Street, home. There, a CEMENT TRUCK is waiting for you. Spawn it, and proceed to the south-east map corner.

Once you park the truck and get out, your next task will be to walk to the boat. After completing that checkpoint, you will notice that you cannot reach the boat, and you will wonder where the last checkpoint it.

Once you see it on your map, find a fastest way to get there, BY ALL COSTS

 

And most importantly, have fun!

For those who have their timezone around GMT, it should be dinner time, for americans/canadians, it should be lunch time, for arv and kanja, it should be midnight, and for GC it should be 8 in the morning.

 

It is the perfect moment when all of the applied racers so far are awake.

 

If i move it from 19 one hour up or down, Arv and Kanja may go to sleep, and in the other case it may be too early for GC to wake up, so i think 19 is the perfect fitting. Though if you have any better suggestions based on timezones, go and suggest, but i think this one's the best.

How about having the races on Saturdays? It should be good for people on both the eastern and western hemispheres. They can catch up on lost sleep on Sunday, without affecting school/work.
