Anyway around walled of railroad tracks?

I've just began playing GTA and thoroughly enjoy the detail. One thing I've noticed is that in the abandoned factory/industrial areas there are abandoned railroad tracks. The detail is amazing. If you follow these abandoned railroad tracks (there are several different locations) they always seem to end going into a tunnel, but the tunnel is always walled off. Is there any way around the walled off areas? Do the tracks continue? Or is this just the way the tracks kinda end? Basically, can the tracks be followed past the walled off areas?

Which tracks are you talking about? The subway tracks or the abandon railroad tracks in Alderney?

The one in Alderney was used for the Sprunk factory. The tracks went under the building and was used as a service entrance probably for shipping. there is a hole in the wall to the basement of the building but if you go further through the tunnel you will walk to a brick wall.

Yes the railroad tracks in Alderny do go from the ports up to the nuclear power plant but they're no longer complete, missing in places as over the years new buildings were built over them. The tracks are an abandoned reminder of the past glory days of Alderney's industrial district.
