I'm going for my first GTA 100% ever..

The first GTA I ever had the pleasure of indulging my gaming fantasies in was VC on the PS2, and it blew my mind! I spent countless hours lost in the virtual world known as Vice City. My imagination was captured by the freedom of movement, the seemingly endless amounts of gameplay options and the visceral feelling of actually being in this city, living it, tasting it, bathing in the atmosphere. Then SA came out and I loved it even more, I finished the story about 4 times but again I never achieved the elusive 100%. Then before GTA4 came out I decided to go for 100% on my PC version of SA playing with a controller on my 40 inch bravia at 1920X1080. The graphics looked sharp and crisp, nothing like the PS2 version I had played up till then! I got about halfway then GTA4 came out and I started playing that instead, which I enjoyed.

But when I looked back at my GTA history, it wasn't with a feeling of pride or triumph, it was with a hollow heart.

Something was missing...

and I knew what I had to do... give this great franchise the tribute of getting 100% in every episode.

Thus, one day ago I started my ambitious quest in the PC version of GTA III on my Bravia. Armed with an old but faithful PS2 controller, a pack of potato chips and checklist from gameFAQs I set out, knowing the challenges that await may break my controller, but not my spirit.

This is my story...

LOL, I'm stuck on the damn paramedic missions, damn these are hard!

You really need to the Paramedic missions at the very beginning of the game in Portland. If you wait until the gangs start hating you, it will be virtually impossible to complete. I know some people have been able to complete the mission on Staunton Island after they complete the game, but it is very difficult to do. I recently started my journey of completing 100% in GTA III through GTA IV. I've beat all of the games 100% in the past, but never in the order of their release date. I've done all the odd jobs, vehicle missions, hidden packages/unique jumps/rampages, and now only have to finish the core missions in GTA III.
