Don Garcia
I love this man. Love him with a passion. No one has ever made me want to be an actor more. 70s Pacino was f*cking magnificent. Serpico is consequently one of my absolute favorite movies. Actually wish it was my username.

FullMetal
Xcommunicated has a good list but for me it lacks a couple of actors/actresses. And if I have to make a list I could be busy a long time. But the one Xcommunicated posted up as I said before is good... with additions other people posted. Who could forget George Clooney, John Maklovich, Johnny Depp and Jeff Bridges? I bet there are more to come though.
Fnorg
I'm far too lazy to list my favorite actors, so I'll stick to my favorite actress - Glenn Close. The talent in her, oh the talent.
shaboobala
My favs: Actors - Daniel Day Lewis, Anthony Hopkins, Christopher Walken, Jack Nicholson, & +1 on the Gary Oldman(I would've forgotten him, True Romance ftw though). I used to like Edward Norton a lot more, but tbh his personality range doesn't seem to change much between movies. So consequently I've knocked him down a few pegs. Actresses - Too hard to choose. I generally have a hard time discerning between acting skill and overall sexiness anyway, so f*ck it. RomanViking
Adam Sandler after he proved he can do serious roles in Reign Over Me. Before that he always played selfish or stupid people - and not likable or compelling selfish or stupid people, just plain unlikable and retarded. But yeah, his character in Reign Over Me, I could really feel the pain. The man could use more serious roles. ------------------------------ I always like Steve Buscemi - what can I say, he's always an eccentric weirdo and/or crazy/evil character. Like a man on the edge of losing his mind or somethin. He comes across as one we can sympathize for, but maybe his life of torment drove him too far. A tortured soul turned sociopath if you will. Compelling. ------------------------------- As for women, not that many. But I do quite like Peter Parker's cute Russian neighbor Ursula in Spiderman 2 (and 3) It's not the actress tho, it's the actual character. Why can't my landlord have a cute, caring daughter staring lovingly at me while bringing me cake all day? I think she loves Peter. people shouldn't even be allowed to be this adorable (ignore the dentist adverts at the top) I'm not even sure if she's that good of an actor tho. All her scenes consisted of her just acting adorable showing off big eyes while smiling at Tobey. ---------------------------------- That is a challenge (I imagine) women have a hard time overcoming. Slamman
Harrison Ford, of course. Gene Simmons of KISS is fun in a movie role. Cheesy often as well. Bruce Willis I really like. Sam Jackson in the right film, he does sometimes seem one-dimensional, however, I am wanting to see The Negotiator again Kevin Spacey. I miss Dabney Coleman from the good ole days. I think he starred with John Cleese in a film called Clockwork, a lost gem. I watched NL' Christmas Vacation and I find Chevy Chase is still a fav comedic actor, as is Steve Martin at his best, Martin Short, Three Amigos, silly and funny. Danzel Washington in his upcoming film has me interested, I enjoy his past body of work a lot. Michael Douglas of course, Charlie Sheen and Clint Eastwood teamed in The Rookie, both great fun actors, and Charlie's role has some serious tone to it in that one, surprised me to see it again. Of course, some of those same actors already mentioned Edited December 26, 2009 by Slamman
