ghost of delete key Posted December 13, 2009 Share Posted December 13, 2009 Amazingly enough, our resident strange-story reporter Slamman missed this one, either hanging out at TMZ too long, or out getting a cheesesteak. Anyway, a 98-year-old woman in Massachusetts is accused of choking her 100-year-old roommate to death. According to the article, she likely won't be brought to trial, because of mental health issues and her advanced age. Now I'm as softhearted as the next mook, but do you think this ought to slide? Just because she's a kooky old granny, there should be no justice? What about the families? Why didn't Slamman scoop this story? If her Roommate had then her Roommate shouldn't be there, The Roommate should at HOME comfortably with His/Her family . Usually old aged people stay in health care home so they can get the care they need that is not supplied by the family. Families get to visit if they want to. My great grandmother died at 98 and she barely had any strength to do anything. She couldn't get out of bed by herself so I'm extremely surprised this woman had to strength to actually kill someone. Oh yeah, because caring for the aged requires no training whatsoever and isn't even close to being a 24-hour job that requires people to work in shifts. In fact, pretty much everyone has some family, so it's really amazing that nursing homes exist at all! f*cking dipstick. Bad-ass granny, too.
