Linki
I find the gameplay a lot of fun, but I have trouble sitting and playing for long stretches. The story hasn't grabbed me whatsoever. Does anyone else experience this? You don't have to play for long periods of time. Just play when you actually want to.
Andyzoot
I'm completely hooked to this game, I've completed the story twice (normal and new game plus), done all but one of the side missions, collected nearly all of Catwoman's trophies, done the majority of the Riddler's Revenge with Batman, Catwoman, Nightwing and Robin and am now currently trying to get all of Riddler's clues and trophies. I f*cking love this game. But I was wondering....you can hang from gargoyles on this game when you press the right trigger (and I presume R2 on PS3) but is there any function to hanging? As far as I can tell there is nothing to do when ou hang except drop off or climb back up. Is hanging purely an aesthetic thing that's just there to make you feel a bit more Batman like? mrpain
I think hanging yourself gives you the chance to drop directly before you. If you drop down from a gargoyle just by dropping from where you were sitting, you won't be dropping down directly beneath the gargoyle. @Forty: Which part of the story are you in? I thought this game has the second best story for 2011, first belongs to Portal 2. The ending will sh*t your pants, if you have not gotten it spoiled of course. Evil.Tim
This is one of those games I wish I could play for the first time again. I get eager to play it and then grow tired of it 10 minutes later because I know it by heart now. Oh well, I guess I'll just wait for Arkham World. I agree, the other game that has only made me feel that way is Red Dead Redemption. I wonder how lucky Rocksteady was prior to the release of the game. No story leaks whatsoever, they really pulled it off nicely. Because if they were story leaks, then I wouldn't have that feeling. There's like some really cool cameos in the game. Blackadder.
Yeah the story is a bit all over the place at times. It picks up quite a bit more in the 2nd half when characters you've met start to influence the overall story.
Brown Sugar
I just got this and played the first few objectives, so far it's really enjoyable, definitely started better than arkham asylum I think. Does anyone else who iwns it on pc have a few performance issues running it in dx11 with an ati card though, it runs ok when I'm anywhere indoors but when I go out to the actual city my framerate is halved. I think everyone has Dx11 issues. Just turn off Dx11 features. They aren't that great anyway. You won't even notice the difference. But your framerate will be perfect. Brown Sugar
I did that and it worked, played a bit more and still really enjoying it, I'm at the bit with penguin and mr freeze. The penguin is a really good character in this game.
Rebel
Was the Penguin always English? I'm not a diehard Batman fan from the comics, more so the films. But I've always had it set in my mind that Penguin was always the same kind of guy from the film itself, then again he did scare me when I was a kid. Still not finished the story, I'm finding it really f*cking difficult to actually keep on track with what exactly is going on in the story. I'm never 100% if I should do side missions while in the middle of the main story too.

Apparently there are certain quests that will only pop up at particular points in the game, so you should accept any of them you're able to. coin-god
The only side quest I did while finishing the main storyline was destroying the Titan tanks. Now that I finished the main game I migth do the rest.
mrpain
Some of the side-quests are really cool, Mad Hatter? Crazy scenario that one! While they are really boring side-quests too like Deadshot. That battle was so lame. I really love this game. The only complain I guess I have is Two-Face. They didn't really used him well.
SilentSeas
I really love this game. The only complain I guess I have is Two-Face. They didn't really used him well. Totally agree. As sad as it sounds, Two-Face was one of the things that drew me to the game as I felt that he was finally going to have a half decent portrayal unlike his appearances in other media. But even though he had a good design, the character was once again sold short and lacked purpose in the whole scheme of things.

mrpain
This is my second favourite game of 2011, but I found that it's not getting as much attention in the media as Asylum did. Weird. That's because all eyes are still on Skyrim. The same can be said for any game that was released back in 2011. This is really one of my favorite games thus far. From gliding around the city to the awesome ending to running around as Catwoman, this game defines perfection. Have I mentioned the cool cameos? Coincidentally, right after this post, just saw on my Facebook wall that this game top Metacritics' best game of 2011. lkkarus
Finally completed the game 2 days ago, the game definitely is one of the best of 2011. I had the ending spoiled for me, which sucks complete donkey balls, but I give Rockstedy credit for doing something so bold. I wish they let people use Joker on the challenge maps like they did in AA

Yeah the Harley DLC will come with it as well as Catwoman's story/challenge DLC and the Robin and Nightwing challenge map DLC. There's also quite a few costumes that you'll be able to use. 'Bout time we got some more story DLC, the challenge maps are alright but they get boring pretty quick for me.
lkkarus
I can't wait to play 10 out of 10! They succeeded if they wanted to out do the AA GOTY edition cover art in sheer ugliness Quinn DLC looks interesting at least.
