mrpain Posted October 25, 2011 Share Posted October 25, 2011 It's a reasonable 20 hours. Plus don't forget all the Riddler Trophies, Challenge Maps and Side-Missions, and you can double that time. And don't worry about that ending. Actually do worry ALOT. I played through everything without getting anything spoiled for me and it was perfect! There's some cool characters you never expect to appear to meet. But I won't tell you like that asshole above you. Sure you know the ending, and to be honest it's quite an obvious one, but do you know the ride to there? Expect quite a entertaining ride. Screw the other games you want to buy Mati, get THIS. Woah New Game +'s difficulty has really cause me some headaches. No counter icons and upgraded enemies almost everywhere. I'm stuck at the Mr.Freeze part. The part where you only have to use sneak attacks against him. It's hard because you can't repeat the same old move! I giggled at every Metropolis reference. Did anyone get the collector's edition of the strategy guide, mine has catwoman on the cover, it was the last one they had i was lucky to get it they most likely won't be getting any more collector's edition guides back in store, and the Arkham City album, i haven't had a chance to listen to it yet. Loving it so far and i just seem to spend time gliding around instead of doing anything. Took me a little while to get used to the controls after the long wait from AA but i'm getting there. I hate trying to take out thugs with guns in the beginning, especially the ones with shotguns. Once I get some upgrades and in to the swing of things, I should be fine though. I really like how most of the batman villains are in the game so far. Sounds like I'm in for a treat! Yeah, I'm on the mission where you need to rescue Mr. Freeze from the Penguin and I'm trying to get to the third communications radar, but it looks like there's quite a few guys with guns along the route. It does seem like Alfred is giving orders at times; it's also funny when he keeps reminding Batman about what will happen if he doesn't get the cure. I actually had no idea what to do there at first, so I unfortunately had to resort to looking on YouTube. Right now I'm just on the part where I analyzed Talia's blood; I'm doing some of the side missions right now (Riddler quests, exploring the city). I'm definitely enjoying the game - love the graphics, too. The Advanced AR Missions are a pain in the ass. I only have one of four of them complete, but like you said mrpain, you just need to tap on the stick after the dive, since it appears to be quite sensitive to touch. There was one test where you had to glide over the water and I spent like 5 minutes alone thinking on how to pull it off. I did it after my second try and I was pretty impressed for myself. High-fives me. There's a pretty cool Character Trophy you can unlock after completing all four. Just completed the Identity Thief side-mission. Mark Hamill did an amazing job voicing Joker over the two games. Went straight to the AR training exercises after doing the story and completed them in 1-2 attempts after spending some frustrating times trying do them over the past couple of days. I only new about the Azrael prophecy thing so far of those mentioned in the video. I'm a bit confused about the Harley baby though, this game takes place in 1 night and clearly Harley isn't pregnant when you encounter her throughout the game. There's suggestions in Arkham City that it'll be set in Gotham City itself. My concern with that is that the game might look to similair to Arkham City, and not feel fresh enough as a result. I suppose, assuming that Arkham City was set in an older and more run down part of Gotham, that the rest might look a little more modern. Kudos to you for finding Killer Croc, I got spoiled by it through a Youtube video. Cool cameo though. I also found another cameo which I didn't expect to find. I was just gliding around those cranes on the water when I came across a mask. At first, I thought "Hey that's a cool looking thing." Scanned it, and I shat my pants. Based on the info in this game, it seems that Scarecrow was the one who grabbed the TITAN container at the end of Arkham Asylum. @John The Grudge: It would be cool though if set in Gotham City. Azrael have already said that Gotham will burn. Me likey skyscrapers. Gonna catch em all Riddler trophies. Read that it will take like 26 hours to find them all. I've started at the Iceberg Lounge, anyone knows where to scan for the Unusual Perspective riddle? We're getting another playable character. Oh boohoo for me. It's impossible to get all 9 medals for a single campaign challenge I tell you! The Predator challenges are do-able but the Combat challenges are a motherf*cker! Hell, I even decided to get this instead of CoD or BF. How about the other DLCs, are they worth it?
