this mod is not the weapons of grim!

this mod is just to add new weapons!!

you have not read the readme??

 

for God's sake!

 

that you have to choose the modified weapons and replacing those who have come in weapons2.img only as an example!!

Where is the weapons2.img file? :$

 

I understand the mod, and I know what I have to do. But I don't understand where I'm going to choose the weapons I want. Should I use for example Grenade Launcher?

 

I have it already. Now what? I can I add it?

Because the mod comes with a weaponsinfo.xml. What do I do?

hmmm, It still dont work for me. I updated all of my GTA programs...

 

*Fresh install of GTA IV with patch 5 v1.0.0.4

*SparkIV 0.6.2.3. by Aru for patch 5

*XLive 0.99b1 by listener for patch 5

*Trainer v5.0 by sjaak327 with provided scripthook 162 kb

*Replaced all files as said in the Readme

*New savegame

 

The trainer keeps saying episodic weapons disabled when I try to spawn one...

 

This time atleast I could see the new weapon.img with the newer SparkIV right away. I wonder why it doesnt work in the game?

I really want to make it work. Dont know what im missing here.

open the ini * Trainer v5.0 by sjaak327 ...

enable episodic_weapons ...

 

replace this:

Episodic = 0 / / Spawn Episodic Weapons

 

for this:

Episodic = 1 / / Spawn Episodic Weapons

Thanks for reply. I figured it could be something like that. Too bad it still dont work. sad.gif It crashes my game instead now when I try to spawn. I havent put any modded weapons in the slots yet. But Im guessing I should be able to spawn original ones??? Like slot 13 spawns a copy of original mp5, right?

 

Which version of ASI loader you use? What version of Scripthook?

weapons2.img was in version 1.0 ...

this new version 2.0 is more streamlined, all image files are on weapon.img

 

see the readme for installation!

 

edit the files, the weapons.img weapons w_01 to w_19, other lines episodic_01 to episodic_19 contained in the weaponsinfo.xml, and edit the file defaul.ide lines and weap amat, corresponding to the models that you use ...

xliveless-0.99b1 and the asi loader which is already in alice-0.9.0 ...

for all 1.0.0.4v5!!!

Im only having the xliveless0 99b1. Do I also need the other one? I cant even start the game at all with the alice one...As soon as I put dsound.dll in my GTA IV folder it dont start.

you can reinstall your game, and just put my mod? not pose any modification, there you will find out if the AddNew19Weapons v2.0 that giving this error ...

not install any mod, only the trainer of sjaak327 and AddNew19Weapons v2.0 ...

I'm sure it has some other mod that you're using giving error in your game ...

 

note: do not edit anything in AddNew19Weapons v2.0, use the original that comes in the download ... then edit text weapon by weapon when one by one ...

Thats what I did. I have no mods on now other then trainer, scripthook and xliveless and the add19weapons. I havent replaced any weapons with modded ones or anything. I just try to spawn the ones already in the altered weapon.img. I leave it for now though...Thanks for your help anyway. Its a great breaktrough in modding able too add weapon instead of replace. I have no idea why its not working for me though..

YES!!! IT WORKS!!! First of all BIG THANKS to R.Shuindt for being patience and helping me out and providing me with files I was missing. Together we could make it running on my computer as well...

 

Here are my current status...

 

*GTA IV with patch 5 v1.0.0.4

 

*SparkIV 0.6.2.3. by Aru for patch 5 (to add/replace modded weapons to the new slots)

This is the files currently added to my GTA IV main folder

 

*dsound.dll

*EFC20FIX.asi

*FileCheckFix.asi

*Scripthook.dll (162kb see below)

*Trainer.asi (Trainer v5.0 by sjaak327 with provided scripthook 162 kb)

*trainer.ini

* WeaponSound.asi (provided with add19weaponsmod)

*Weaponsound.ini (provided with add19weaponsmod)

*WinRunFix.asi

*WinInfo.ini

*xlive.dll (XLive 0.99b1 by listener for patch 5)

----------------------------------

 

Then...

*Replaced the files in common and pc folder of GTAIV dir with the files provided with mod as said in the Readme for Add 19 Weapons mod by r.shuindt and sjaak327 (read first post in this tread)

 

Make...

*New savegame

 

 

And here is what I found out was very important and the main thing it wasnt working for me. If you have Windows Vista make sure you are running as administrator. I had an account that I had set with admin rights. But my game crashed before even started. I had to create a new account actually called Administrator. Then revalidate my unmodded GTAIV on that account. Reinstall mod and then it suddenly it worked...stupid Vista

Thanks again for providing me with the files I was missing. Turns out I also missed WinInfo.ini. It works like a charm now!!! Great to actually be able to add a bunch of weapon and not miss out on the ones already in the game. Great breaktrough in modding of GTAIV.

 

 

 

I really recommend this mod! I havent had time to play with it alot yet. But I havent experinced any problems or bugs yet anyway...

the mod works great but i have problem with vendors I can't buy hot dog ,drink ... i can't use pc on the internet

you saw the readme???

 

MAKE A NEWGAME!!!

not use your savegame ...

 

I already explained about internal ids of the game in a previous post ...

I'm pretty sure almost nobody is going to use this if we need too cpmpletely whipe our old save game and use a completely fresh new game... LOL!

 

Should work on a fix for that buddy!

But, what happens if we play with an old savegame?

impossible ...

when you add a new weapon, you change the ids in-game ...

 

example: a vehicle that had an id called for 450, installing my mod, the same id is now 469 ...

 

is easy You check it before installing my mod, save one car in the special place in any house niko, install my mod, loadgame, you will see that the car that you saved, changed to another model, will not be the same car that you saved ...

 

That goes for any internal id!

 

Another example: the binoculars fixed towers, piers or building ... have a different id before you install my mod ...

 

using an old savegame, rescued before my mod, all internal ids a jump up to 19 numbers ...

 

it is easy to consult, to make a new game, so all the ids are self-programmed!

 

I do not think it would be a problem because I came to 67.83% with 94 missions completed in 1 day ...

 

other than San Andreas, the gta4 is very short, in my opinion ...

 

for those lazy, you do not have time to make a newgame, here's my save game with all missions in story:savegame

Hmm thanks, If i start a new game though, will i lose all the vehicles and stuff the mods saved in place? What i mean is I use the vehicle buy mod and when you make a car and buy it and you get out it auto saves there, But if i start a new game EVERY SINGLE CAR I've brought will be lost right? Hmm I truly want to use these, but I'm not sure if i want to use a dif savegame / new game

DUH, ofcourse you lose the cars. But you can just spawn them with the Simple Trainer that's required for this. You don't keep your money after a new game either, right? biggrin.gif

can you make a video showing all the weapons?

weapons contained in the mod, are originals gta4 ...

is that you have to modify it, using your favorite weapon mod!

Why be sarcastic to me ? I'm not using a trainer with my cars, I'm using a buy car mod that never lets cars disappear so i was wondering if they would stay active in a new saved game because of how they are stored on the memory of the game........ But don't worry it's cool and all but i really cant be bothered starting a new game

You can replace the weapons with whatever you like. Just download some weapon mods, and replace 01, 02, etc. with them.

I must say I love this mod so much!! I always like to install massive numbers of weapons but I miss for example, Micro Uzi, Glock, as they are modelled pretty good, and sometimes I want to use weapon that is exclusive so it would be unrealistic if others would have it (Thompson 1928) etc. Thanks alot for making it dude!

To all users: This mod won't work properly on any savegame downloaded, even own 100% mod maker he posted! (well at least for me) if you'll use it, you will get manyyyyy bugs because of new ID's, for example Qub3d bricks on a wall of hospital etc. Remember to start new fresh game.

Hey man, tbh i haven't tried your mod yet, although it seems one of the best. But the reason is bcause i don't like using trainers. So my question is: is there a way you could create a .asi file that could spawn all the weapons somewhere (like inside a warehouse or some NPC that sell them). Thanks, i'll w8 for an answer. icon14.gif

really good idea!

but this will only happen some time after the release of EFLC for PC ...

including support for multiplayer, I can use the weapons added online ...

no why, or how to take pictures, you have to choose their weapons within search for Grim, quechus13, TriXigT or Millennia ... see that the market has great weapons!

 

and do you even your arsenal!

Wait, so it just adds more vanilla weapons?

read the first post, you will have a total of 35 usable weapons in the game ...
