this mod not have new weapons ...

it just adds more weapons ...

no, 19 is the maximum supported by the game ...

when I tried to add more than 19, gave error here ...

I'm more concerned about solving the problem of audio, anyone know how to edit files dat15 and dat16? I'm not able or open it ...

anyone?

im not so safe with modding my gta but this sounds awesome as theres some cool mod out there. so for example: If i use a golden uzi mod i cant use another awesome UZI mod right? i dont really understand how to install this mod? do i need a trainer? if yes how to install one? sorry if i ask some stupid questions im a noob at modding GTA IV confused.gif

Just use notepad, you will see that weapon sounds are in there and can be used in scripts, there are a bunch of weapon specific audo names in dat15 I believe.

 

Look toward the end of the file, or use search and just enter a weapon name like MP5. You will see entries like MP5_FIRE (just an example) and you will see there are plenty of names like that, these can be used in scripts using:

 

Playsound(MP5_FIRE)

So I opened the file dat15 with the notebook, but does not understand how it could add paths to existing sounds for the new weapons by dat15 ...

I really am illiterate in scripts, if you have a spare time and can help me, making a script for this mod, it would be great my friend!

I managed to add only 5 weapons in the game with audio, but the rockstar simplesment not used in gta4, all files are already functional in the game, minus the models ... tounge.gif

 

I hope that soon, the new version of this mod ...

Interesting.

So some of them are beta weapons, like w_silenced (silenced pistol), w_nstick (Nightstick), flame (Flamethrower). They are unused.

 

The minigun is for the mounted minigun on the Annihilator.

After the Three Leaf Clover mission you can get car bombs from Packie.

So the "bomb" and "minigun" is used.

the weapon works.... i just cant see it, however when i installed the AA-12 from the BOGT mod, i saw the episodic version of the AA-12, it just didnt do any damage..

Yeah, because you didn't install the Grenade it fires which quechus added as Episodic in his weaponinfo.xml

In TBOGT, a grenade firing gun looks like this:

thanks to our friend sjaak327, the next version of the mod add 19 more wepons will be launched soon with all the weapons with audio!

 

sjaak327 worked perfectly to solve our problem with success!

I do not understand, you tried to spawn the episodic weapon and its game crashed?

 

you have to please explain better what happened in your game, ok?

 

remember, do not use your savegame!

make a newgame ...

 

because your old savegame contains old internal ids record ...

you adding new weapons, the ids change!

example: if an id, before my mod was 250, with my mod that same id becomes 269, you understand?

you edited weaponsinfo.xml?

if you edited it, you need to edit defaul.ide lines weap and amat ...

This is great although I havent got it to work yet. Somehow my SparkIV wont see the new weapon.img It just keep being the old one on 5 mb. So I cant see the new slots...

 

Edit... Now I see the new 10 mb file and all the extra slots but ingame it says its disabled when I try to spawn any episodic weapon.

 

Any idea what Im doing wrong here?

not really know what you did wrong there, try reinstalling your game, no mods, and install my mod 4 test, do not forget to make the bkps, ok?

what is your version?

remember, only mod tested in version 1.0.0.4 v5!

 

make a new game, do not use your savegame ...

 

I do not have additional vehicles in my game, sjaak327 are testing it ...

still do not know if vehicles are added to influence the game!

*SparkIV 0.6.2.3. by Aru for patch 5

*XLive 0.99b1 by listener for patch 5

*Trainer v5.0 by sjaak327 with provided scripthook 162 kb

*Replaced all files as said in the Readme

*New savegame

 

The trainer keeps saying episodic weapons disabled when I try to spawn one...

 

This time atleast I could see the new weapon.img with the newer SparkIV right away. I wonder why it doesnt work in the game?

I really want to make it work. Dont know what im missing here.

open the ini * Trainer v5.0 by sjaak327 ...

enable episodic_weapons ...

 

replace this:

Episodic = 0 / / Spawn Episodic Weapons

 

for this:

Episodic = 1 / / Spawn Episodic Weapons
