baptiste Posted October 20, 2010 Share Posted October 20, 2010 Just got this. Finished single-player on Normal, gonna go for legendary soon, it seems harder than Halo 3/ODST. Just wondering, but do the credits/upgrades earned in single-player work in multi? I've not gotten Live yet. If so, any way I can farm Credits in Single-player so I can stock-up abit? I'm just not sure how the credit thing works. I seem to have gotten a bunch during single-player, but if I keep spamming Single-player, will I keep getting them? Every time the singleplayer credits get devided in half? Or if I go online today, then the rest of my single-player credits wont get devided? He said the game had the option of dividing your credits in half, or restarting completely, so they didn't really give too much in that department. There's a limit on how many credits you can earn offline: if you've never connected to Live with Reach you can earn up to 26000 credits and anything more than this will be taken away from you when connecting to Live. If you have been connected to Live on Reach before,you can earn up to 1000 credits per day whilst playing offline (not connected), again anything earned above this will be removed when reconnecting. This also applies to armour, I'm not sure exactly how it works but anything that you buy that isn't with that initial 26000/1000 will be taken away from you. This type of (necessary to prevent cheating) crap is what makes me bother to connect to Live at uni, where the connection's so bad I can't actually play games online but I can connect. At least I can play campaign and firefight and preserves my precious space bucks. That, was amazing. The confetti so made it. That stuff's practically bankrupted me, along with the Cortana FF voice I bought yesterday. I'm about to hit Major in about 10K cR and my current credit balance is about 4k. So much cool stuff that I won't be able to afford The confetti and "YAY!" still gets a laugh out of me occasionally though. So it's totally worth it. Cortana's voice is sick, too. I regret nothing. This is just speculation, as I don't have a definite answer, but I imagine that as long as you play while connected to XBL (as in "Baptiste has signed into Xbox Live" when you turn on the xbox) you should be good. I regret nothing. I see the Confetti way to often to actually find it funny any more, i'm sick of the sound and the only armour effect I really want anyway is Inclement Weather. I do really want the Cortana FF voice, I nearly had enough but just thought f*ck it and bought a new helmet, shoulder and all the helmets attachments in one go and then I bought Bucks voice today, gonna be a while until I get enough for Cortana. Also I want the damn thermometer for the # of challenges done up already, it sucks seeing the Max Rank think instead of 'Commander' on the progress bar, plus I want Commando stuff, especially the helmet and right shoulder. It may be quite common now, I'll rarely go more than two or three games without seeing someone with it (apart from me, duh) so the effect is somewhat dulled. It's great for avoiding game-rage though. I'm not very easily angered by video games, but sometimes on an already bad day I'll pop Reach in and just get annihilated and get pissed off. Then I'll realise that my bright red space marine just exploded in a cloud of rainbow confetti accompanied by a crowd of cheering children and I can't help but crack a smirk. I honestly haven't played Reach in quite a while, I really want to play it but I have no one online to play it with and playing Halo alone online can get sorta boring fast, most of the people I do usually play it online with have been sucked into New Vegas. I still love Reach but I don't need it play it so often, not as addicted to it. Or maybe because I've had Live for about a year and Halo 3 was my main game for many, many months. Some were saying it was going to be lifted on the 9th (Black Ops), but the one I came up with is the 7th 11.7.10 Remove the dot and you get 117.10 But in all seriousness, I don't think there is any conspiracy. Benjimino234 Posted November 13, 2010 Author Share Posted November 13, 2010 F*cked up a Perfection game, I was in Invasion Slayer and got 17 kills, 0 deaths. Linky I was wondering why I haven't gotten a Running Riot let alone a Perfection for when the match ended. I was thinking do vehicle kill count? I don't think so... And I was right, I had 3 kills in the Scorpion and 14 'weapon' kills. This probably explains where I had 37 Banshee kills, no deaths match. What's annoying is that I only realized it when there were 30 seconds left of the match and I had a Sniper Rifle and missed 3 targets to get my 15th kill... grr Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
