Need help with Simple Native Trainer installation

Recommended Posts

I've been looking up 'how to' vids all day and cant seem to find anything up to date for v4.8. Tried putting all the right files in the directory Loads of times but there is always something wrong - Menu not coming up when F3 is pressed or game just crashes. anyone up for showing a newb how its done?

I intend to use it only in singleplayer mode. I appreciate ANY help.

Download the trainer and place the files:

scripthook.dll

trainer.asi

trainer.ini

here > C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\

Be sure you have xlive.dll OR dsound.dll already in that folder.

Be sure you have the latest patch too.

have fun.

I reinstalled the game to make sure everything was reset to original, downloaded and moved all 4 files that were mentioned above into the directory. Now when i try to start the game, i go through LaunchGTAIV as administrator. but before it even gets a chance to load I get "Grand Theft Auto IV has Stopped Working" Message. Am I launching the game correctly? (Launching it any other way gets the same result now. Thanks!
