It has the landmarks, changeable weather that would or could be used to good effect and different terrains (urban, rural, mountainous etc). I don't know what the crime is like in Seattle but as far as the rest of what I have mentioned, as a setting I think it would be pretty cool. Your thoughts please. I live near Seattle so of course i would love it if it we're the location of GTA NeXt. Unfortunately, i don't see it happening. Unless it co-existed with a few other major cities, like what they did in San Andreas. Or maybe if they decided to make up the entire West Coast, otherwise it's unlikely. I remember once while listening to Opie & Anthony they had Lazlow on the show (He was promoting GTA IV) and the idea of GTA Seattle came up. Needless to say, Lazlow laughed at the idea. Of course i know that it isn't up to Lazlow where the next GTA is set, but, err, he kinda crushed my hope on the idea nonetheless. Besides, there are so many other potential cities that R* could do. As for crime in Seattle, even though it's the 4th safest city in America according to Forbes i've heard stuff about Russian, Chinese, Japanese (Mostly Russian) Mafias that operate within the area. I also remember hearing about this guy who got arrested for smuggling drugs in Seattle for some Mexican Drug Cartel. And of course there are street gangs. I don't know much else. As a person who visits Seattle frequently (I live close by) and has lived there, I think seeing a GTA there would be awesome. Without the Space Needle, it wouldn't be too outstanding so I would rule it out, unfortunately. It's fun to live there, though. But then again, no other city really is as iconic as NYC or LA (wel, SF). And then there's the low crime rate. I would love GTA Seattle, though, especially if it's winter with snow (imagine towns like Ludendorf and an entire city covered in snow). Besides that, the only other thing that would differ it from other GTAs is a macklemore radio station.
