Serious issue on Radeon 9550

I've updated my graphics card drivers to latest Catalyst 9.11.

 

This is what I see just after loading (CJ's house):

 

And this is what I see outside the CJ's house (I don't know why HUD is not captured):

 

FPS is also decreased (now it's about 12).

 

I've tried changing everything in game' graphics options, but nothing helps.

 

Can you help me?

My older computer updated its Video Drivers automaticly and the game went wild, couldn't play because of the visuals.

I Rolled-Back to the old drivers. Works fine now. Some Times Up-grading doesn't. It's an old game and some new drivers just won't cut it.

You're right, but well, that's workaround. I believe there's just an advanced option to change (talking about registry). 9.11 is the final version - IMO it's supposed to be bugless.

Any mods installed?

Have you tried deleting the gta_sa.set file from the SA User Files folder?

 

Also, note that the latest driver is not always the best driver. SA is an old game and you cannot expect the latest driver to be optimized for SA.

The ATI legacy drivers above 9.3, to be honest, don't work nicely with SA. 9.8 gave me just 20-27 FPS where I'd get 50-70 FPS usually, and seemingly 9.11 f*cked up even more. If I remember correctly, other games f*cked up around as much.

No mods, .set file deleted.

 

Well, I did install 9.3 (the last package that supports 9550), and graphics were the same. 9.2 is the solution - game runs fine now.
