pdean52 Posted December 6, 2009 Share Posted December 6, 2009 Hi - I've recently purchased a 360 and GTA IV and having achieved 100% game completion I'm now looking to bag a few of the multiplayer achievements. I don't think I'll go for all of them as I do like my wife, daughter and social life but I would like to get this particular achievement and am looking for anyone else who's currently trying to get them or already has them and is willing to help me. I already have Hangman's Noose in under required time but need Bomb Da Base II and Deal Breaker. Any messages or comments would be gratefully appreciated. Many thanks all!! Gamertag is pdean52. pdean52 Posted December 6, 2009 Author Share Posted December 6, 2009 thanks all. i'm aware of strategy to beat, just need to get in the right game and join like minded people to be able to get the required times. most difficult part for me for BDB II is getting people to play with me on easy level to make it easier to get in good time. anyhow i've just gotten a 5:09 for BDB II thanks to someone who was doing some very odd stuff - definitely not glitches more cheating. the armoured truck was flying at twice the speed of an infernus and the bombs seemed to get planted very quickly too. i just hope the rockstar servers register that time coz if they do i'm happy to take it and see the back of that mission once and for all!! deal breaker here i come!! Spuds725 Posted December 7, 2009 Share Posted December 7, 2009 Good luck-- I'm impressed with all you xboxers that can get dealbreaker with randoms-- hopefully you will find someone else that knows what they are doing. My deal breaker vids give some hints too-- Also-- just found this out a few hours ago-- in BDB-- you can glitch in on the pier side of the containers too-- same spot on the ship (front to back) although there is no #12 on the pier side-- you land right next to the bomb set point-- it is a bit tougher as there are a few crates next to the glitch point that king of block your jump-- I found this on accident when i died and respawned there-- was trying to jump and partially jumped in.... tried again and went right in. pdean52 Posted December 7, 2009 Author Share Posted December 7, 2009 i'll check out your vids tonight spuds for some additional tips - many thanks. i had a couple of forays into deal breaker last night and i think this is going to be a real bitch to get. looking at vids, playing and reading people's comments leads me to believe this will be the hardest of the 3 and very dependent on playing with the right people to complete in the required time............ still xmas break is coming so hopefully plenty of time to do this and the last couple of outstanding achievements before COD MW2 becomes my new hobby!! On Dealbreaker, you can tell in the lobby if the players you are ingame with know what they're doing. Traffic/Peds off, midday/clear and health reticule on are the premium settings. Anything else (traffic especially) and it's griefer/n00b nirvana. I played with one of them and they are the only ones I played with that play fast games from what I have seen. There are several of them.
