What Criminal Organization in Next?

Recommended Posts

Ok, So we all know that claude was bassicly not in a gang, the colombians betrayed him, he was taken in by the Mafia, then the yacuza and betrayed the mafia because they were going to whack him. I like his story.

Tommy was in the LC forelli mafia but again was betrayed, then sent to Vice city, but he was still in the LC Mafia, Until after the game, where he killed the Boss.

Niko was sort of Not in any Gang, he was more like a Hitman, as long as he got paid, he was alright.

So for the Next protag would you want to be in any Perticullar Cartel, Mafia, Street Gang, whatever the choice is yours.

i think that its most likely that rockstar will keep it so their protagonists work freelance rather than be allinged with a particular gang as it will allow them to create a less restricted story with a bigger variety of mission types.

Im going to have to agree with this dude. Either he is freelance or was part of a gang, and is now retired.

Although i would love some morals included in the protagonist like CJ. His personality was much more realistic, not like Tommy who didnt care if he killed his mom if it was for $5 (i know many of you think Tommy was a better character then CJ)

I agree with you, I don't see the fascination with Tommy, he had no emotion really. CJ atleast had some emotional motive to do what he did, to save his brother and redeem himself for his family. Morals made Niko's story interesting as well.

Well remember Tony, Johnny, CJ, and Luis all belonged to some sort of "faction." CJ was part of a gang and look how many varied mission types we had in San Andreas. Even though you were part of a gang San Andreas produced the most outrageous as well as the highest number of missions in a GTA game.

So I think, like CJ's story, the plot can be twisted in a way that allows the protagonist to do go outside of gang business and freelance a bit.

Even though I want vice city, I would want Mafia, or Bloods and Cripps (NOT in San Andreas though).

The Bloods and the Crips are both LA gangs you can't have them anywhere else.

Are you serious? Do research before you post. Everybody knows that the Bloods and Cripps are everywhere, not just LA. We have plenty of them here in jersey.

The malicious Granny Mugging Gang.

Or the vicious group of "Keep Left" signs.

It was Hell's Grannies, that's their name.

And don't forget the Baby Snatchers.

If those were actual gang names... lol.gif

How about the Candy Store Thieves and the Raping the Rapists Gang?

imo, gta iv had the best story line and characters and part of the reason why is because niko wasn't tied to one gang and this allowed the story flow more freely where as to me the SA story felt cliched and linear compared to iv. but thats my opinion,

Yeah I know but what I mean is that you associate the Bloods and the Crips with LA not Jersey City.

Perhaps because Tommy was a more believable character for a gta game. A game where you suceed by stealing and killing people (often innocent civilians). He had no problem doing anything as long as he got paid or it helped achieve his goals, plus he was a badass mofo. Claude was basically the same but never talked, so not much character there. Niko wasn't much different, he'd refuse at first, complain, question the morality of the job and then just do it anyway. Although I would say Niko is probably more realistic, Tommy is the best gta protagonist.

Half of the protagonists we've seen so far have been, in some way, affiliated with a gang.

Personally I never tire of Italian mafia families. I'd like that to be next gang.
