how to stop the attack

4. Save the game (I think).

if you save when your hood is under attack, it glitch the game...your hoods will never be attacked anymore.

Not so... I did it by accident the first time and now use it regularly when I dont want/need the prizes.

Sort of.

The area under attack will become less "influenced" by GSF so they'll be more regularly attacked by other gangs hoping to take it over. But, every time you defend it, you won;t gain any more influence back. So, it is a continuing so which evidently "glitches" your game.

If I understand well what your trying to say, if I don't defend a territory and try to get it back after a while, I won't get any influence and it will remain the same color. Maybe not but more light and not dark?

So here is my question.

Would it be possible with this "GLITCH" that a territory could stop to be a territory?

Not defending the territory will give it back to the other gang if you continue play by ignoring the alert.

Using a 'stopper' such as saving the game hasn't affected the zone in my experience. Otherthan a more quickly need to defend some zone after the save...

what i meant wasnt clear enuff...my hood was under attack, the safe house i used was in the attacked turf...it glitched my savefile and no territory's were ever " under attack " anymore. i could still trigger gang-war and would see ballas/vagos shoot my gangs sometimes, but never got any red flashing territory's anymore.

back then i had too re-start a new game cuz it bothered me not having it.

No being bothered by attacks sounds like a great bonus to me.

I've played the game over 25 times. (PS2 and PC).

I've had 100% territories in a few games and still been subject to those annoying attacks.

Entering the gym stops the attack to. You don't need to do anything, just enter the gym! I'd also suspect all the same things that cancel a wanted level do the trick (entering a school computer, buying plane ticket, etc). Untested but also suspect triggering vigilante, taxi, fire, pimping, etc.

I have saved the game before to stop an attack and the color never changes, verified it with the save editor to see the value is the same, which it is.
