KollarGTAMF
I just figure that they're going to milk the sh*t out of B.S., cheap to develop add-on games based on 4 for at least a couple years... Most likely longer.... Which bothers me... Because after San Andreas... I just don't like 4. Can't do it. I've been trying since day one. AnotherDave
IV is finished, there won't be any more DLC for it. The next GTA release will be based on the same tech, like Vice and San Andreas based on the same as GTA III, but like I said, no more DLC for IV. supermortalhuman
If I go with thinking that way, I draw conclusions that they will continue support throughout those years... More episodes after the next game perhaps, before episodes for that one. And episodes for both during the third era, perhaps by the final episode, all three games will be installed and connected (because to do such a thing as connect them all together and require three games would need to be delivered in an optional, episodic fashion) Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/434554-rockstar-to-milk-dlc-add-ons-for-next-2-12-year/#findComment-1059669711 Share on other sites
Duke203
...cheap to develop add-on games based on 4 for at least a couple years... At least a couple of years? Are you able to add a reason, or more preferably, some facts to this belief? Apart from them actually saying 'Liberty City is finished, done, over...' etc, DLC is not their main contributor of profit, the full GTA games are. Why would they ignore the guaranteed 15-20m + units of sales in favour of less profitable sales? DLC just added to that pot of cash. I work for an investment bank, and I also do a paper round. It's cheaper for me to deliver the papers because the shop's just round the corner, but I fancy spending some cash just to fly to the office and receive my £500k bonus. Actually, I'll do the cheap to do job for at least a couple of years because... supermortalhuman
duke is right, they would expand how many titles they have that also have dlc attached as opposed to stay on the single release and drop episodes now and then.
