Lancet
Hmm. I was looking at both the Swift from Blog This! and the unobtainable Swift, and I noticed that it seemed to have a blue luster (both the black and the white parts). Both times it was only blue though. Is that just part of the chopper? Is it on the one that is normally parked? Edit- by the way, Lancet, the Swift in Caught With Your Pants Down is obtainable. Park it in a spot, shoot Yusuf, then quickly kill yourself. I just tried this, and the Swift was there when I came back from the hospital. I actually found this here, so I dunno who you could credit it to. Now if only there was a way to get the Dark Green Vincent . You fail if you drive the boat onto land, and there is no way to get it to a parking spot so that you could then kill yourself. You say the car vanishes if you go back to move the boat closer when pushing it... did someone actually try that? I think I'll have a go at it tomorrow. The problem is that you have all those highways and stuff, which makes pushing a very difficult task. I'll check out obtaining that Swift. I'm not usually one for suicide to get a vehicle, but if its the difference between obtaining or not obtaining it, that's different. I tried moving the boat while pushing the Vincent. It vanished. XTREME0235
How awesome would it be to see the Skylift in a drug wars? Like, say they bring something in from somewhere, like a big crate full of smuggled weapons and drugs, i think it would be awesome, and having it in different colours too! I know it would certainly make it easier for those who are having trouble getting the Sky lift in 'For the man who has everything' Edited April 12, 2010 by XTREME0235

carapapa
The Flatbed that goes out in " the unique jumps " (jumps in parachute, in my game are called the "saltos únicos" because of it do not be the translation) it is of pink color. Do not be if equal other one exists
Mince
Also, couldn't the Schafter redesign be considered unique since you only see it in missions?
Lancet
Also, couldn't the Schafter redesign be considered unique since you only see it in missions? Yeah yeah, I know, others have pointed it out too. I'll add it in someday. Maybe. If I feel like it. Eventually. If I do, though, it's going to be one big entry, because I'm not going to create a dozen new entries for each mission that has it! As for the pink Flatbed, if I could get a bit more input from others, I'll add it to the guide. But not the Schafter. Yet.

Lancet
LCstuntman = Lancet?????? I have a special vehicle FAQ hosted on various sites across the internet (a text-based FAQ). LCStuntman's guide (this thread) is largely based off of information in my guide.

Well, you could just give it one entry, and maybe list the missions it doesn't appear in (since it is in a lot of them) and then the Club Management ones. Usually, all you have to do is shoot Tony, or just beat the mission. I'll try to check the Flatbed ASAP. Like, right now in a few minutes.

Mince
I don't play multiplayer, but I am pretty sure it is parked at police stations. And it's not a tank, it is an APC. There is a huge difference. By the way, this really isn't the place to ask those kinds of questions, since they do not relate to special vehicles that much. Next time, please use the search function or even go to gta.wikia.com, where you can find answers to general GTA questions like that. I apologize, but I still haven't looked at that Flatbed. Any progress LCstuntman? And Lancet, whatever you do, please don't leave us like System Error did . Special vehicles would die forever without you, considering you made most of the guides for GTA games..... And one more thing, sorry if this is getting off topic, but I heard that you could edit your save games using a hard drive transfer cable. I just ordered one of those; if I edited the vehicle in my spot and replaced it with something else, couldn't I make any vehicle a certain color? Like a rich yellow Infernus ... plus I could replicate special vehicles easily if I lose them. Edited April 14, 2010 by mincemate003

I've even emailed System Error about possibly giving his guide to me to maintain (although I'd rewrite it in my own format, namely getting rid of the useless "identical special vehicle" section). but I never heard back. I think I sent the request in the summer of '08. EDIT: I emailed him again at both of his addresses given (the one in his BP guide and on his gamefaqs account), just in case I could get a response. Hopefully he'll give the guide to me if he's not interested in it anymore. Edited April 14, 2010 by Lancet
MC.
Forgive me if this is off topic but I wanted to ask you Lancet about the Gang Burrito from the mission "It's War". Why do you have to double drive it with the Hexer?

florisinfernus
Lancet, could you also contact GTA_Loco for me? I emaild him once but he didn't reply. His strategy for the EXPLOSIONPROOF/FIREPROOF INFERNUS in Vice City Stories is totally wrong. He says you have to push it for miles but you can just drive it to shore, ram it into a wall untill black smoke comes out drive it into the water and then push it out again. Lancet
You fail the mission if you go too far away from your bike. This is correct. I believe that failing this mission also results in a post-mission cutscene, which will convienently rob you of a chance to keep the Gang Burrito. florisinfernus, I'll email him. He's still around, just not doing much with guides. I've offered to take over the guides for him (since he also has the same archaic format as System Error used), but he insists he's still going to get around to maintaining them (although he doesn't have a PS2 or the Stories games for the moment). He says you have to push it for miles but you can just drive it to shore, ram it into a wall untill black smoke comes out drive it into the water and then push it out again. Really? Hmm, I posted a topic about that here and MC_320 (haha, hey, he just posted here) did say he drove it into the water. I pushed it, not knowing of that method. Yeah, he does need to update the guide. He told me of a few vehicles to be updated, and said he would update it within the next week. That was in the summer of 2008. Still not updated. By the way, he has an account here. Just look in the topics in the Cheats/Trick SA section. I PM'ed him a few months ago and he responded the next day. As for that Gang Burrito, yeah, that was the mission I got it in and I remember failing it the first time because I accidentally drove it too far from the Hexer. I guess if you used a well-thrown pipe bomb to kill all of the Lost members at the same time it would bypass the cutscene, but not worth the trouble. Back to BoGT now (although not really relating special vehicles), has anyone ever used a hard drive transfer cable to modify their save files? I am going to get one and use it to (hopefully) spawn a Hakuchou and a Police Stinger. I just don't know if it would work. Also, if I replaced a special vehicle with another vehicle (like a bright blue Buffalo with an Infernus), would it keep the special color? Anyway, sorry Lancet, I WILL check that Flatbed in about an hour or two.

Mince
Wait, what did I contribute? So I checked that Flatbed, using the spawn underneath the Bohan part of the East Borough Bridge. I did see a light rose color, but other than that only dark colors like green and gray. So yes, the pink/red Flatbed is unique. I just realized that the other spawn was a Biff, not a Flatbed, but I still didn't see the pink/red color, and I am pretty sure I would never see it if I checked 100 times.
