TBoGT Unique Vehicles Guide

I gave up modifying .dat files. I crashed my game many times and had to reinstall it few hours ago. It's really frustrating and annoying. And trainers do ruin your game, no matter what people say. I tried to spawn vehicles and all I could get was 16 GB of software installing again. I will only modify car colors from now on.

this may be a silly question as i have not tried it, but in TBoGT and LATD can u park vehicles in Niko's marked parking spots and save at your own safehouse? or do u have to be a resident like it says to park there?

Yes you can. And those extra spots come in handy to. The only thing is that you got to have a good memory where they are located.

So is this thread dead or are some of you still up for finding unique cars? I just found a sultan rs thats burgundy/brown with a yellow stripe. I'll post some pics later today.

Yes you can. And those extra spots come in handy to. The only thing is that you got to have a good memory where they are located.

WOW, so you're saying you can save up to like 4 cars by combining Niko's parking lot with yours??? Didn't know that. I mean I know where Niko's safehouse is, I recognized it when doing a mission.

I've got 2 topless Banshee's in that color, one with a yellow stripe and the other with a white stripe.

The cops call them "(dark) red bravado Banshee/sportscar"

Actually putting them next to each other, they're not quite the same color.

The one with the white stripe has a bronze tint to it, whereas the gold striped is a more flat brownish.

 

The lighting is provided by an unique colored Presidente btw. I had a topless Banshee in the same blue/purple but I lost it

Awesome! Yeah I think the bronze banshee might just be a normal banshee, but I can tell the other isn't by the stripe. I actually just found the convertible version right after I posted the pic of the comet. I'm currently looking for the drop diamond with the chameleon color, its so damn hard to find! C'mon everyone, let's see what unique colors you guys have! I'll have more pics later of other rare colors.

i know where Niko's safehouses are by memory. even so, you can always look it up online. i dont think you can use Johnny's spots to park cars in TBoGT though. so you can save up to 10 cars total with Niko's 4 spaces and Luis' one.

 

also, any car you have you can get it painted any color you want. just keep going into the pay n spray until you are satisfied with the color. each time you get it painted, it will 'circulate' the colors rather than giving you the same color over and over. so keep getting the car re-painted until you get the paintjob you like. thats what i always do before saving cars. just get a Sultan RS of any color and take it to pay n spray you can get it that color (eventually). we sure as hell dont have anything better to spend all that money on.

You are correct, but if you spray a unique car from drug wars you'll never get that unique color again, just adding.

I've done close to 200 Drug Wars and this was the only time I've seen the Super Diamond in that color.

Yup. If I had a PC, I'd definitely be playing GTA on there. The PS3 version doesn't even have damn brake calipers! I might be trading an extra PS3 for a friends XBOX+games, just for the brakes, lol.

actually, i got a paintjob like that for one of my Super Diamonds from a pay n spray. usually it gives you every possible color that is programmed in the game for that particular car. stripes on Banshees, Tampas, Sabre GTs, the triple colors on Sultan RS, the white with red border on the Coquettes, etc.

 

the only thing ive found rare is the two tone colors (i.e. the blue cars that look purple at different angles). found one of those in a drug war and saved it. i HAD a Super Diamond like that too but i blew it up by accident before i got a chance to save it

 

sometimes if the pay n spray isnt cooperating, you can drive around the block, smash the car up alittle bit, wait awhile, or take it to a different pay n spray because occasionally they keep giving you the same colors over n over (i found the Henrique cars do this more often)

 

my main beef is if you find the paintjob you like but it doesnt look shiny. just jack the car and take it to a car wash (if you remember where theyre located since they dont appear on the map in TBOGT) but mainly this works with any car. just find one and drive around and every single paintjob available for that car will eventually spawn in traffic. so go car fishing for your perfect color.

An easier and cheaper way is to drive the vehicle along the car replication road in Bohan, you'll soon see all the normally recurring paintjobs for the vehicle your driving.

If a color appears there or can be obtained in a Pay'n Spray then it isn't unique and doesn't belong in this thread.

Beware that it can be a subtle difference that makes a paintjob unique, so it might not be obvious in a dodgy screenshot.

(And no one claims that striped Banshee's are unique, they are indeed quite common)

Great way to differentiate between unique and not, GTA Phreak. And you're also correct about the subtle differences in color. I have a good eye for colors, so I KNOW when I see a rare car! LOL. I then proceed to take out the gang members quickly and try not to shoot at the car. Basically my objective changes from getting the drugs or vehicle to protecting the most unique vehicle I see.

In EFLC and TBOGT there are 8 spaces for 16 vehicles (Roman's "mansion" in Broker, Mallorie's cousin's house in Bohan, Roman's penthouse in Algonquin, Playboy X's penthouse in Algonquin, the Pegorino safehouse in Alderney, the Lost MC clubhouse in Alderney, Brian's house in Alderney, and Luis' safehouse in Algonquin). AFAIK Luis and Johnny can use all these spaces, except Luis' space doesn't exist in the Xbox 360 DLC version of TLAD. In all games if you see a parking space you can use it, even if you can't use the safehouse there.
