Isn't bragging about smoking/taking drugs illegal? This is where GTAForums truely doesn't make sense, you filter swearwords because of advertising - it wouldn't look good etc. Yet you condone a 300 page thread on taking drugs? Yeah... makes ALOT of sense. For me, I've stolen a pair of shoes from outside someone's house. Well to be fair it wasn't me, my friend knew I liked them so he took them and brang them round my house later. I felt bad after a week or so, so I threw them into his porch. I've also egged a few houses over my time, but who hasn't? What have you guys done? To mods, if you close this, please read the forum rules. I hardly see posting about drugs is "legal" in the rules. And I can hardly see people discussing their favourite types of herb as just "discussing". If you keep 'that' topic open, this one should stay open too. This topic isn't about telling people you've punched a granny in the face to show off, it's to basically admit what you've done is wrong. Some can be funny, such as running down the street naked or something. Smacking an old lady isn't classed as funny. Acts of stealing, vandalism, etc. are detested pretty much everywhere. Discussing them or bragging about them on the internet is just dumb for reasons that should be obvious to the end user (read: you're not as anonymous as you think you are). Also, discussions of stealing are likely to bring up the subject of warez, which is not tolerated on this site. And honestly, I don't think anyone really wants to hear about what someone else stole or vandalized. Exactly - the DISCUSSION isn't illegal. Yet people fully admit to taking drugs on here. There are different types of crimes, it would obviously be against the rules to discuss stabbing someone or something horiffic like that, but getting drunk and pissing into a main road or something isn't. I'm sure you're not 'that' narrow-minded to realise that? People associate the word 'Criminal' with crimes such as breaking and entering, yet you can perform funny crimes (in some peoples eyes) such as running down an alleyway screaming whilst completely naked. I myself have urinated into a busy main road whilst drunk, with cars beeping at me etc lol. Let me break this down a little more then: I could go up to a cop and tell him I just smoked a joint and he couldn't arrest me on that alone. But if I went up to a cop and told him I just knocked off K-Mart, I'm going to be arrested on the spot. So once again, openly discussing your criminal activities on here isn't wise. I doubt anyone will come on here and tell how they just stole a Lexus, but it's not something we need to be allowing. And besides, it might interest you to know that there are members of this site who work in law enforcement. Could be bad for you little thugs if they're in your country.
