As long as you have a decent card in there all should be okay, although do expect a little bit of messing around with graphics settings etc to begin with Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/434487-will-this-pc-run-gta-iv/?do=findComment&comment=1059668471 Share on other sites

sammclean23
omg i forgot gpu see my first post again haha no probs. I was looking at that card to buy myself for christmas lol. So from what iv seen, that combination is pretty beasty to be honest. In theory you should have no problems. My system is in my sig. Mine runs smoothly with no steppy graphics etc (other than loading from an interior to exterior). I dont know the exact fps it runs at but it is smooth and enjoyable. You should have no problems...just remember there was a lot of problems with the game initially which im sure you know lol p.s just a sugestion..the new 5870 (think its that) is much worth the extra bit of money Edited December 3, 2009 by sammclean23 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/434487-will-this-pc-run-gta-iv/?do=findComment&comment=1059668482 Share on other sites

Mudfrog
Will GTA IV run smoothly on this PC with decent amount of FPS? Specs: Intel® Core i7-920 processor (2.66GHz, 8MB Cache) 6GB DDR3 memory 1GB ATI Radeon HD4850 graphics Why are you spending the extra money on a 1GB verison of the 4850? Those typically run around the same cost as some 4870's now. Granted I do have one to but for good reason, mine is in my HTPC and I needed a shorter card that still offered 1GB for 1080p gaming, I would never attempt to play GTA4 on my HTPC though.
