MIKE CHULICK
Hello everyone, I was recently looking around in Luis's apartment, and I saw many picture framed. With what looked like Luis in a USMC uniform. Now, has anyone else seen this if so, could this explain his fighting ability. AreXi
People say it's his father. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/434475-luis-a-ex-marine/?do=findComment&comment=1059668254 Share on other sites
shinsta312
It's more than likely Luis's father. This is based on one of the emails from his sister, who questioned Luis on why he still has pictures of his father in his apartment. But it's strange, though, because despite being in a marine uniform, Luis's father was mentioned as being an army soldier, not a marine. simonp92
I dont see how he had time to be a marine. he is only 25 years old + he was in jail for some time. AreXi
Luis's father was mentioned as being an army soldier, not a marine. Could just be a confusion. Though it's funny how some people confuse US Army and USMC to each others The Journey 1 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/434475-luis-a-ex-marine/?do=findComment&comment=1059668268 Share on other sites
DrAnomalous
I don't know if it was Marines or Army but Armando and Henrique mention Luis was in the services early on in the game while driving them around. I think the cage fighting and living in the "hood" explains Luis's fighting ability. Lancer1990
I dont see how he had time to be a marine. he is only 25 years old + he was in jail for some time. Luis said that he was running from cops when he was 16. At around 18, I think he did a 2 year sentance. Also he said he was running Hercules and Maisonette for Ages and it was Tony that brought him out of jail. So I honestly doubt when he would have time for being a Soldier. gamefarter
I thought it was one of his brothers. I could have sworn his mom said something about him being in the service, why she was so proud of him, and why couldn't Luis be more like that. jnzooger
Soldier = Army Marine = Marine Corps Also, there is no such thing as an ex-marine. Once a Marine, always a Marine. (If dishonorably discharged, then you were never a Marine to begin with.) TheGreyGhost
Because Luis couldn't have possibly served in the armed forces given how old he is, how much time he spent in prison, and how many years he has been working for Tony. General Goose
When Mori was boasting about his Army service, Luis would have had said something in most likelihood. But, he didn't. So, yeah.
