Category 18

Best Metal Performance

(For solo, duo, group or collaborative performances, with vocals. Singles or Tracks only.)

    * Dissident Aggressor

      Judas Priest

      Track from: A Touch Of Evil — Live

      [Epic]

    * Set To Fail

      Lamb Of God

      Track from: Wrath

      [Epic]

    * Head Crusher

      Megadeth

      Track from: Endgame

      [Roadrunner Records]

    * Señor Peligro

      Ministry

      Track from: Adios...

      [13th Planet]

    * Hate Worldwide

      Slayer

      [American / Columbia]

I hope Set to Fail gets the award, I thought Lamb of God's Wrath was far better than Megadeth's or Slayer's efforts.

First of all I would pick Taylor Swift because she's has good music, but the selections for record of the year are weak anyway. 2009 hasn't been a great year for music in the way that 2008 was.

Second, Coldplay is unstoppable, nominated twice again:

Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals

(For duo, group or collaborative performances, with vocals. Singles or Tracks only.)

    * Can't Find My Way Home

      Eric Clapton & Steve Winwood

      [Reprise]

    * Life In Technicolor II

      Coldplay

      Track from: Prospekt's March EP

      [Capitol]

    * 21 Guns

      Green Day

      Track from: 21st Century Breakdown

      [Reprise]

    * Use Somebody

      Kings Of Leon

      [RCA Records]

    * I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight

      U2

      Track from: No Line On The Horizon

      [interscope]

      [Capitol]

    * Her Morning Elegance

      Oren Lavie

      [A Quarter Past Wonderful/Adrenaline]

Music continues to decline in value, much like everything these days. I feel Kenye West might STILL jump on stage when Taylor Swift does and say "Imma let you finish, but Beyonce, she's the best EVAAAAAAAA!!!

Scuse this here, Imma just drunk outta ma mind again.

And skulk back off stage.

It would be funny if it happened again.

I think Megadeth all the way, best artist of all time! This Century anyway

Music continues to decline in value, much like everything these days.

I agree with you but only on music that is recognized nationally or internationally. The music that is considered "popular" today is definitely declining.

This is why I rather listen to independent musicians, or in general, musicians that are not recognized as much as they should be.

(bad analogy):

Sometimes the smallest rocks have the greenest moss.
