FullMetal
The only thing that worried me when I saw the achievement list was the fact that there's only 10 missions. That sounds really f*cking short... though I can only hope each mission is quite lengthy and/or displays nothing but sheer awesomeness. Also most achievements are easy to fix as it seems. So for you 'Gamer Point' whores out there this might be worth it.
Seddo
The achievements look pretty easy, the only hard ones will be completing it on hard and doing that Tier 1 sh*t. Not seen any gameplay footage for ages so i've just been catching up, the game looks amazing and i'm loving the limb decapitation from that powerful sniper. TommyMufc-Champs
The achievements look piss! I'm definitely getting Medal Of Honor over CoD Black Ops.

FullMetal
Also, 4th of october = open beta for PC gamers. That's right, open beta (more of a multiplayer demo) for PC gamers. Yes... nothing has been mentioned concerning console "Open Beta/Demo". PC gamers have exclusivety for once. Two new maps (one that had been shown on the Gamescom... the snowy mountain ridge map) and the other I think is an airbase level (shown in one of the latest "official gameplay videos". edit: also yeah, I'm curious how much they've improved upon the 'beta' most people had their hands on. I hope there is finally enough recoil, more damage done by bullets and whatnot. Kandahar Market looks actually like a more detailed and finished version of the 'urban map' we had in the beta... Knife
Good on the open beta. Previous beta totally put me off this game because it was completely sh*t-raped with bugs. Now it can redeem itself.

Now it can redeem itself. Beta filled with bugs?? How is it possible?! Game betas are usually 'we've fixed most the bugs we can find, lets get users in to find any other ones'. This wasn't ready for public testing because there were core bugs that they must have known about. They never updated the beta either to fix the most obvious bugs such as opening the chat box would mean you would never regain control of your character unless you got killed. This new public beta is the right time to do it. The core game will be there, but they can sort out issues they didn't get in testing and sort out balance issues. But I found the beta still enjoyable, even though it felt like it was in the alpha stage.
FullMetal
People are used to MULTIPLAYER DEMOS... not public betas. We had a real public beta, unlike with BC2/CoD:World at War. Those were just merely multiplayer demos. Looking forward to the multiplayer demo. I really hope they also fixed the ranking system/progression. You ranked up and unlocked stuff way too fast. Or they must've added alot of attachements in the final product. Still, you must work for your Tier 1/attachements. I don't want to instantly unlock everything. darthYENIK
Really? So they're not even going from Taliban, but insurgents. Insurgents is just as sterile as OpFor. Although OpFor sounds cooler than insurgents.

I for one love game soundtracks and this sounds pretty epic from that song, thanks for the link FullMetal. I've downloaded and installed the Beta Client ready for the 4th, can't wait to have a go at this game again as i enjoyed the beta despite all the bugs etc, gonna be waiting until Christmas before I get to play the full version though. FullMetal
Open Beta is running... shamefully STEAM will probably unlock it at 6PM GMT/UTC. You can still visit the official site to download the client through one of the many links posted there. edit: Shamefully the beta crashes alot. I can't play Combat Mission because it CTD and, as with the previous beta, when I get a nice streak going it crashes to the main menu. Luckily not to desktop but it gets back to the menu and says 'EA connection has been lost'. Stats (kills I made/xp I earn) don't get saved then. Damage done is improved alot, visually aswell. Overall my (short) experience with it is very positive. Thing is though there only seem to be 8 levels yet again and there's still not that much XP between unlocks. Minic
Go EA! The servers that control MoH just went offline due to "technical difficulties". Yeah I just saw that too, I'm not too used to military shooters on PC so this is gonna take some adjusting for me but it's been sorta fun so far, I just hope all the server stuff is sorted soon so I can get a proper play of this today. NickRad
It's sad that this will probably sell far less than Black Ops due to the pre-teen fans who think that MoDerN W4rFare 2 iz teh bezezt gaem evar. This game looks epic and I rarely say that about games
FullMetal
if you got the beta, head to the Support directory and open the AutoRun BMP file. heh. Same developer, same engine... happens alot. Daz
I like Chris Ryan's stuff. What the hell has he got to do with this game? As far as I know the last conflict he was in he ran away from. Would be pretty funny to see him in this though, oh look he is STILL walking to syria.
