I'm not putting it in the 1.0.5 update thread because I refuse to sort through 46 pages of posts to find what I'm looking for. Has anyone found a fix for this? I'm still logged in GFWL even though I get that message. There's been many many complaints after this latest patch and I've had this game since the day it came out for PC and have had zero issues up until this point. You're using mods, thats why That's right. I got to play again after I removed that dsound.dll file from the main folder (was it this ASI loader or something?). Anyway, yeah, you have to remove mods to play. I'm assuming after this most recent patch, there's no way to still be able to use custom car skins.... Strikers88 Posted December 2, 2009 Share Posted December 2, 2009 Unlikely Yes.. you have to remove the custom car skins that you already downloaded and moded them in the directory of gta iv installation.. You know Those custom car skins are actually mods.. So better try to bring back to Default Factory installation of PC GTA IV or else delete the mods you have right now.
