Baseball bat isnt working right

Hi, I have GTA4 PC with newest patch and I cant do a hit with baseball bat, but when I push Right Mouse button and then Hit button or R, then he only hits. Also I cant run and hit too. for knives and fists it works fine. do you got the same problem?

I have the exact same problem... When I press the left mouse button, it does nothing (with the baseball bat). I have to press right mouse button first so Niko will go into the fighting stance, then I can attack normally - until he gets off the fighting stance that is. Also I can't attack while running, or when I'm not in the fighting stance. The problem has never happened before, but there was a GFWL update just before this started happening so it seems likely to be the only possible culprit.

Could, I really hate this bug. I want to hit off bikers from bikes off while running.
