Algonquin Bridge
Ack, same problem. The Buzzard cheat is even further down on my cheat list; and it's 4 slots up from the bottom.
kid23455
well, I had every single cheat in and still managed to get the skylift. It isn't that hard. Although, it becomes a lot harder if you tried and completed too many times. You will know when it becomes a lot harder when yusuf dosen't talk
Mae King Fuch
Bah, repeated tries and the Skylift disappears when I take off the ground. Kept my camera on it, and all. I suppose the problem is that the Annihilator cheat on my phone is about the 4th one down on the selection menu. I wish I could move cheats up or down on the phone menu, or delete some of them so that the Annihilator can get in the top spot. Oh well, either I a) learn a quick-fire button press sequence to get it, or b) start a new game and don't use cheats until that mission. But I won't let this stop me. I shall continue trying, as it is a lovely large helicopter. i get the same thing.wtf are we doing differently?

Algonquin Bridge
Exactly. Hence why I'm practising to get faster. And kid; to each his own, eh? I'm not you, so unless you're some form of amputee, or have some form of time-perception disorder, where 1 second seems like a month, it's not that big of a deal. On the plus side, going through the missions from scratch with just one cheat in the phone menu is both fun and challenging. So when the day comes for the mission replay, I'll be ready. You should try just memorizing the pattern: Up, A, Up, A, Up, Up, Down, etc.
florisinfernus
After trying the mission more than 10 times I finally saw it hadn't dissapeard then I used adamcs method and did it on the frst try. Scaring him and making him land was easy. I truly love the Skylift. It's so silly and useless and that is why it is great. I also found out that it is possible to save it at Johny´s 2´nd parking spot and even Playboy X´s. I haven´t tried Bohan and Hove Beach though

Any amputees out there, or people who're in rehab for taking Cake feel offended by my post, then apologies, no offence was meant. And yes, I suppose that's a method; but I usually mess it up. One accidental press up, and I've got an APC, not a buzzard. One accidental press down, and joy I have a Bullet GT, not the Annihilator. Plus, things get a bit stale after a while, so I figure it's going to be both fun and rewarding playing through the story all over again, with the ultimate test known to humanity added on; only the Annihilator cheat in the menu. Plus, I've got a spare save slot, so why not?

Algonquin Bridge
Exactly. I'm going to be faster than fast. I aim to be so fast, that Yusuf will just be getting out of bed, and I'll be flying the Skylift he's meant to be flying in 2 days time in the Subway heist. But good news; I'm able to see the Skylift fly away over the Monoglobe, but it flickers and disappears before I can get close enough; which is why I persevere. Get the timing and lift-off right, and steal that car lifting mother right out of Yusuf's gold encrusted hands. One day, lads. One day.

Zee_Lolz
lulz, you'll be so fast, you will have the thing before yusef was born and when he's born, you will pick up the car he is in and drop it in teh oceanz. for all the trouble, that is
Algonquin Bridge
In fact, I'll pick up the car that Yusef's grandmother was in, drop it in a ditch where the future factory which makes the Skylift will be built, invest in MS and Google and the Skylift company, and die whilst in the Skylift at the age of 33, high as a kite on drugs, rock and roll, drink and women. Or something like that.

Magic_Al
The attached phantom subway car would help train exactly how high to position the skylift to attempt to pick up a "real" subway car. A funny video would be a "trained" pilot hovering the skylift (without subway car) precisely over the tracks to "catch" the next subway, then hilarity ensues (subway crashes into skylift). Algonquin Bridge
fake you cant get the helicoptrero My troll-o-meter is off the charts here. Troll pointing-out aside, how would people react if R* decided (unlikely) to release some form of patch which included a Skylift spawnpoint? Would you feel relieved that you could get it much easier? Or annoyed that you went through all that work for nothing?

Algonquin Bridge
Don't feed the troll. But yes, this massive helicopter is certainly bulky. Is owning one a status symbol? Do we enjoy it due to its looks, or its presence thanks to its size? Now, if only the thing was available in multi-player. With the ability to pick cars up. Your opponent speeds away, thinking he's lost you, when your friend comes down in the Skylift, lifts him up to the highest point in the city, and lets go.
