Save it at Niko's Algonquin safehouse, front end facing south, and you need both the wheel under the cab and the righthand wheel inside the yellow parking space, as close to the building as possible. If you leave it there before traffic knocks it out of the way, suprisingly, you'll find it there later! Still takes up the whole street though, so I really don't know how it's saving it... I only ever tried sniping it before it go there, because previous times, the Skylift just hit the highway edge and exploded. One thing I want to point out though. It's about the camera thing near the start. For me, at least, I don't have to keep the camera on it when I get in the annihilator, as long as I'm quick enough in chasing it. Also XTREME, how quick do you need to be to get it with the carriage? No matter how quickly I do it, it always seems to go, just as it goes out of viewing distance. XTREME0235 Posted November 30, 2009 Author Share Posted November 30, 2009 games guru, did you download tbogt? because i cannot get the one with the train either. so it may not be on the dlc version No, i am pretty sure it dosn't matter, because i have the DLC version as well, and i try to get it without the subway car, as soon as you start the annihilator don't fly backwards, just get in the air so you can do a sharp turn towards the helicopters right. Then go full speed towards it, you alson need to have the Skylift in view at alll times, apart from the trees in the way that dosn't count. But you don't really have to be lucky, just quick. At first I thought it was just luck, but he crashes every time. I guess it's easier than we thought. I can't seem to get the train either, BTW. I turn the helicopter (around to the left) as soon as it rises and go straight forward, lifting a bit to get over the trees. People seem to let it rise right up first then turn, so I'll try that. I could be just starting to chase it, and then it pops out of view for a split second and the carriage disappears, that's what is annoying me. I mean it's a completely open area and just seems easy to save a heli in that place Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. Got it to the airport, but after i kill Yusuf, the thing goes crazy and spins fast, towards the water, where it went it How do I get it to stop spinning? And the cops are a pain in the ass, screw the airport. Anyone? Sorry I'm really anxious, I got it at the beaches on Firefly Island, but I want to know how to make it stop spinning before I shoot it down. 3rd EDIT (lol dont want to triple post): I shot it down at Firefly and it exploded when it hit the ground. Yusuf randomly disappeared right before the overpass, and the helicopter fell to safety. Over 2 hours for this bitch, this calls for a celebration. Cookies on me!! XTREME0235 Posted December 1, 2009 Author Share Posted December 1, 2009 (edited) Hurray, yep just tried parking the Skylift myself at the Algonquin safehouse, it worked, but the one i obtained had the subway car on it AGAIN, but i didn't want it on there, and when i saved it and went back to it, it was gone, Yay! Edit: Oh and i'll tell you now, try to avoid putting the back wheels in the water, it is like the Annihilator, as soon as the whole wheel gets in the water, it sinks, but with the Skycrane, it sinks fairly slow, because of the weight and everything. P.S: I like to call it the Skycrane....it sounds better. Edit 2: Oh and the Skycrane is awsome at blading police helicopters, the huge rotors send the police heli's flying outa your way.
