Ishikaro
I had downloaded GTA 4 when it first came out and subsequently updated it to patch 1.04 with the crack from Razor1911. To run the game with that crack, I had to disable GFWL (dont remember how) and RGSC. Now, I have bought 2 legal copies of the game, for me and my friend. It works fine on his machine but my version has a problem. Fresh install works fine but there is no popup from GFWL when i launch the game. When i update the game to 1.04 it does not even launch. The online activation went fine and RGSC is working as well. I think that GFWL popup is the main issue and I have tried a lot of things to solve it to no avail. If all else fails, I will probably have to reformat as a last resort. I am sure this has something to do with the 1911 crack and not my computer itself as I was able to run the cracked version fine until 3 days ago when I installed the legal version. Then install. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/434085-ex-pirate-needs-help/#findComment-1059660264 Share on other sites
Sunrise Driver
Why it took so long to buy the game? If you checked that the game is running properly on your PC then you should immediately buy a legal copy. I waited so long because none of my friends wanted to play the game and so I had no interest in multiplayer. Now that it went on sale on D2D they had no excuse! juscal
I'm pretty sure most people on these boards would frown upon helping someone who pirated the game in the past, for whatever reason. Chevyboy
You admitted to stealing a game on said games fan site. What's more appalling is you ask for help regarding an issue with said game. I don't care if you've finally purchased the game because it was "convenient" as far as I'm concerned you are a tool and the embodiment of everything wrong with PC gaming these days. My own personal biases towards thief's aside, discussing illegal activities on this board regardless of them being past or present is not tolerated as far as I know so expect the thread to be locked soon. Shove off tool. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/434085-ex-pirate-needs-help/#findComment-1059660394 Share on other sites
