secondVISION Posted November 27, 2009 Share Posted November 27, 2009 Hey, after applying the latest patch 1.0.0.4 I guess my game just stops & minimizes to desktop. It does not ctd! It just minimizes and when I click back on the gta iv logo in my taskbar it maximizes again and I can continue playing. It is just irrititating to keep minimizing & maximizing each 15-30 minutes... Alexsso Posted June 4, 2011 Share Posted June 4, 2011 I have the same problem, I'm using Nod 32, and I forgot to make am update, now I made it, I must see if that was the cause When I'm going with taxi, when I;m arriving, it minimizes and I cannot restore it I have to end the task... I have Microsoft Security Essentials with these specs : Security Essentials Version: 2.1.1116.0 Antimalware Client Version: 3.0.8402.0 Engine Version: 1.1.9700.0 Antivirus definition: 1.155.1498.0 Antispyware definition: 1.155.1498.0 Network Inspection System Engine Version: 2.1.8904.0 Network Inspection System Definition Version: 17.36.0.0 I also use a commandline.txd file because of the well knowen ressources problem, I used to have 800mb+ but the fist day I Installed I remembered another game (Don't bother yourself, it's not a GTA) that works better on a lower resolution...It became 59mb... :x BTW, I don't use the -norestrictions and the -nomemrestrict because it causes the ZLIB20 error... I don't have any paches installed in the game because when I installed the latest patch 1.0.0.7, the game doesn't start, then I had to re-install the game My PC specs : Win 7 Professional 32bits Pentium Dual-Core CPU T4500 @ 2.30 GHz 2Gb Memory DirectX11 I use only GTA IV on my laptop (no other running applications...) What should I do, I can't find how to deactivate Ms Security Essentials...
