How To Improve FPS

Recommended Posts

-Equilibrium-

Hello everyone, a little while ago I decided to make a video where I give everyone several tips on how to improve FPS. Now I'm not saying this is the best video in the world, it might not make a huge difference, everyones outcome may be different.

If you wouldn't mind subscribing, that'd be great. I'm not advertising my channel though lol, I hope this video helps you guys.

Thanks Man! Enjoyed this, learned a little, mainly to match the refresh(?) hertz thingy on my Nvidia

card with whats in the game...might even try that game booster you mentioned even tho I have a great comp and have had no real problems running GTA IV. Every little bit helps! For some

reason I run all my games at 800x600...to me thats just "how it looks"! No reason to change even tho my rig might play it full-tilt on the resolution. Just a holdover mind set from having to supertweak my OLD comp to play SA!

Thanks man, change your resolution, trust me it looks amazing.

Thx for the video, really informative although I know most of those tweaks already, still nice to see them in an easy to follow guide.

To the guy running at 800*600, are you crazy? Why the heck would you want to run any game at that resolution? Crank it up man and enjoy games in higher definition, they look amazing especially GTA IV.

Ooookay...after seeing how many laughing fits and seizures I caused cos I'm an 800x600 pound weakling I decided to throw caution to the winds

and "put the peddel to the meddel"...aaaand...

at 1280x720(75) it did just fine, no lag and didnt notice fps...but at 1360x768(75) it lagged with an fps about 10...it would play tho! (all other settings high) The higher resolutions look okay...I suppose...(I know I'm doomed now!) but like I said its a mindset holdover from the past...I'm just not a res junkie!

i gotta call you on that one, because resolution is damn near everything, especially with gta iv tounge.gif

Also, I suggest you avoid the WAREZ on his site as it is probably pay-per-install since, you know, he's not advertising his channel but his adwares :x

Perhaps. Either way, that's warez...

My site? I admit I illegally download full versions of programs (Not GTAIV, I support them to the max), but not once have I downloaded / tried to get other people these "warez" you speak of. This is not my website. (Tbh, I dunno what warez means, virus sorta download?) If so, this is not a virus. Pay per install? What the hell are you talking about?

Whenever I run most games at resolutions higher than 800x600 it seems too smooth.I'm not used to it. cryani.gif
