It's Always Sunny

Recommended Posts

I searched and found no topic. Really, no topic.

I started watching this show over the summer and I've never looked back. The first season was fantastic (picking up chicks at an abortion rally), but I really fell in love with the show when Danny DeVito joined the cast in Season 2. Every episode is absolutely ridiculous and after watching the new season it's obvious that's still the case. The plots are so outlandish that they might be more at home in a cartoon, but the cast usually manages to pull them off. To someone that's never seen the show, maybe try thinking of something like South Park meets Seinfeld.

Seriously, have I forgotten how to use the search tool? There really isn't already a topic?

Just a few hours ago, I saw my brother watching what I'm guessing was A Very Sunny Christmas.

With a flashback of Frank faking out Dennis and Dee with empty boxes for Christmas presents. And Charlie finding out his mom was hooking from home. f*cking great.

Frank is seriously the icing on the cake. This season I think is better than the previous, with the exception of The Nightman Cometh from last season. Seinfeld on crack, seriously.

One thing I'm really digging is the fact that I've yet to see an episode I haven't liked. Of course some episodes are head and shoulders above the rest (for me anyhow), but they're all good. For me "The Gang Gets Invincible" and "The Gang Finds a Dumpster Baby" are friggin' awesome.

Also, I've asked a few of my classmates if they've seen the show and almost no one's even heard of it. Something even more frightening is when I mentioned that Danny DeVito's in it and hear people say they either don't know who Danny DeVito is or that the don't like him. I cannot decide which is worse, not knowing who he is or not liking him.

You've gotta pay the troll toll to get in that boy's hole.

After seeing you talking about this show before in TP a while back, I finally started watching the first season today. And you're right, this is one of those hidden gems that's gotten past me.

And yeah, not knowing of Danny Devito is very ignorant. Not liking him is just heresy purely for the sake of being a douche barge.

I wonder if they had the ending with Charlie coming down on and proposing to the waitress.

Anyway. I quote frank non-stop. I've been saying a recent little nugget a lot...

"Block the wind, so I can roast this bone."

I'm currently on season two now and just watched "Hundred Dollar Baby". Frank puts 225lbs on the squat bar and tells Dee, "This isn't going to be a half-assed workout." I'm still laughing.

This is now one of my favorite shows.

I am a cock gobbler and I love to gobble cock. I'd gobble Greenman's cock anytime. This show is brilliant. I first saw this in the beginning of the year, I had never heard of it and was caught completely off guard by the sheer magnitude of greatness. Ah, bliss.

You're kidding me right? This was the first non-animated comedy I watched since Three's Company, and it certainly doesn't disappoint. I started watching the show before Frank was added, and it was funny then, but I can't say He doesn't add something to the show. I think my favourite episode has to be the one where Dennis and Mac are told a prisoner that they pissed off is getting out that day, so they try to fake their death. I couldn't stop laughing for almost the entire episode at the sheer hilarity of their ideas. At one point they buy a hand grenade.

I live in Philadelphia and right now it is cloudy as sh*t.

I have yet to see this show, but a few people have recommended it. I was just pissy about it since most of it isn't filmed here. I hear that has changed and more of it is filmed here now.

Apparently ,Devito, gets pretty trashed in a few of the bars around here when not shooting.

@Unoriginal44 - seems like we are in the same boat. I have to think Three's Company might be the last true live action sitcom I have seen too.

I just caught up on this show over the last couple of months and I can honestly say it's one of my favourite tv shows of all time. It's hard to pick a favourite episode because they're all great but one of my favourites is the one where Dee and Dennis get addicted to crack. Or the one where they find a dumpster baby.
