Trexmaster
If you have trainers or hacks for SA or other games I suggest you put them all on a CD then delete them from your computer and try installing SA again. If that doesn't work then your CD is damaged. *Update* Although, the problem may come from another part. I still recommend you do the first thing I told ya first thing's first. The problem may occur from software. Why this? I remember I had a game and a certain antivirus didn't let it run thus I needed to reset my computer. Do you think there's a software that can intersect with the game (maybe not because of the antivirus like I had with that game)? Is there a program that gives you odds? Ryan
Your DVD Disc is most likely damaged which is causing the files to not transfer. If possible, try installing the game on another PC just to confirm it is the disc. If it works on another PC then it's something with your PC. Lay off the add reply button buddy. Nobody has to help you. The people who do, do so out of the kindness of their harts, so give people time. We don't live here 24/7.
Miro
ok but could some one give me all the GTA Files ? uploaded on megaupload please ... Dead (Retired)
Girish
okbut could some one give me all the GTA Files ? uploaded on megaupload please ... No. We do not allow sharing of original game files on our network. Buy the game again if the disc is damaged beyond repair. Also, learn to be a little patient. There was no need to quadruple post. Also, you would have gotten quicker responses if you had posted this in the correct forum i.e. the troubleshooting forum which is where I'm moving this topic to. Also, don't post images that stretch the page. Either resize the image or post thumbnails. I'm leaving this topic open in case you need more help but please don't discuss anything that goes against the forum rules.
Miro
ok sorry and thanks for leaving open this topic because i need a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot of help to install it. the reason why i wasn't patience was that i wanted so much GTA SA that i couldn't control myself really sorry for breaking the rules... anyway .. back on topic. i got the files from a friend on a stick copied all the files on D: but when i wanted to run gtasa.exe got another f*cking error . http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/7724/pic5t.png some reason here ? Girish
You said you just bought the game? If that is the case, I suggest you return the game to where you bought it from and demand a replacement. Before that, try installing the game on some other PC and see if it works. This will confirm whether the disc is at fault or not.
Miro
lol i bought the game 2 years ago however i have already all the files of it the disk is out of discussion. i got the files from a friend where all the game worked. i just got this files. why this happen ? Girish
Because you haven't installed the game the way it should be. I suggest you re-buy the game and install it properly via the game installer.
Miro
man i really don't know .. i need some good and understandable tutorials for installing the game. or maybe a good site to download it . is this illegal or V.S. the rules ? Dead (Retired)
Girish
Yes, it's illegal to download the game without paying for it and against our rules too. You can buy and download it from sites like Steam or Direct2Drive, but that's about it. Or simply, you can step out and buy a retail copy of the game from one of the stores in your area. Ryan
girishb - you're wrong, it is legal to store the downloaded files ONLY if you're going to use them as a backup. No. In any case, downloading the game from the internet without paying for it is illegal. In the case of backups, you are allowed to make one copy of the game as a backup, but it has to come from your own disc. You can't download it and say this is my backup. lil weasel
You can't mix your version one game files with your friends version two game files. A pirated copy is still a pirated copy.(Some dealers in some countries make copies to sell as originals.) GTA:SA has an inate sense of 'bad' loads. It doesn't like download copies (because certain files don't get included in the pirate copy) It doesn't like No-CD cracks/programs. radioman
It is legal to have the downloaded game ONLY if you have the original copy of the disc. That is wrong, as Unlimited as explained, it is only legal to have a back up copy if you make it from YOUR own disc-if you download any files from the internet, then it is illegal. Different laws in different countries say different things. We go by the laws established in the USA, which it is a violation to download illegal files whether it be music, videos, games, etc. The RIAA's website has good info on what's legal downloads are and what illegal ones are, btw. On-topic: @topic starter, you have three choices here, (1) you can go down to the nearest Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Target, gamestop, etc and buy the game, or (2) go to wal-mart.com, Target.com, Amazon.com, Gamestop.com and buy the game, or (3) Buy the download from Steam/D2D. The retail version is $10 cheaper than the Steam/D2D one, so that is your best bet...

It is not that expensive, if you go to one of the links I posted to in my last post, you can get a new copy for less than $10. It is only $20 if you get the Steam version. Just a heads up...
