How do i

Im just practicing some designs and stuff on photoshop, some of you guys really got me eager to learn!

And im making this graphic where you put an image inside text,

An ive done it all fine, just adding some additions like bevel and emboss etc

when i click stroke (on the blending options tab) I get a red outline around my text which looks awesome, just wondering how i change the color of it?

 

Sorry i worked it out, was doing it all wrong on the stroke tab!

Click the layer in the layers palette to select it, then click the fx button (at the bottom of the layers palette) and choose 'Stroke...'. This will bring up the Stroke section of the Layer Style window. Click the red rectangle and you can choose the colour of the stroke.

 

Edit: My computer had a heart attack trying to post that for some reason . Good to hear you sorted it yourself.

Yeah thanks, i was just going by the blending options, didnt actually click on the stroke tab itself!

You can also ALT+Click between the layers in the Layers Palette to get the same thing
