Invisible Ballas in The Green Sabre

I've started the Green Sabre on the pc.I drive to the bit,see Smoke and Ryder betray everyone and i drove up to Sweet,wondering what to do in the country side.I get there,and start shoooting everything there.

 

The Ballas come with back up.They get out their van.I shot the two that get out.But there is still a red arrow above the VAn.If i blow it up,still there.And if i move the van,still there.Nothing below it.And sometimes it shoots at me,but shooting at it is really only shooting at air.And the same happens with the other van.It can't be Graphics.I put it up to Very High.

 

So,how do i fix it.?Cos i don't like doing all the Los Santo mission,just to told i can't go to the Countryside,SF and LV.

don't worry about the vehicles.

Kill all the people.

Keep Sweet protected.

It's a timed mission. Just hang on till it ends.

 

Any Mods in the game? Remove them.

 

Are you playing from the Original DVD in the drive.

Are you using a No-CD program/crack.

Are you playing a downloaded game, from where?

Are you using a 'backup' copy of the game disc.

I am using the origanal game dvd in the drive.No crack,downloads,backup copys.Every other mision works fine.

The only timer in that mission, is where you have to go from meeting Caesar to meeting Sweet under the Grapevine intersection.

 

Have you tried lowering the Fx quality to Low or Medium? your video card may not be able to render the graphics on the higher settings very well.

 

After you kill the all the Ballas that appear,(the minigun is the best weapon to use to get through this mission the fastest), you will see a cutscene with Tennpenny and Pulaski taking you to Santa Cruz in the countryside, then the next mission will take place at the trailer park in santa cruz where you have to go to the top of the Big Sur and kill the guy in the witness protection program for the crash team.

 

But just use the minigun or rocket launcher to blow up the vans/car that will be doing the drive by on you and make sure all on foot ballas are dead, then you should get a cutscene...

 

Also, as lil wesal mentions, if you have mods installed, then get rid of them and see if the problem persists.

The 'Timer' is Sweets Health. If you can't hold out long enough for the cops to arrive He dies Mission Failed.

 

Vehicles are merely transports, once the ballas dismount they are easier to hit.

However, the Desert Eagle (one shot, one Kill) is.

 

There are No Grapvine Intersection, Santa Cruz, Nor a Big Sur. in the real (Unmodded) game.

I wont use the minigun/rocket launchers cos i don't like cheating.But the thing is,i have killed all the ballas but the arrow pointer is stillpointing down at the van.Even when blown up or moved.No Cutscene or anything.I'll try see if i can get a picture later.

Actually, the minigun can be easily obtained in the beginning by traveling to Las Vegas(most noteably during the mission Drive By, which is a no wanted level exploit) and the rocket launcher can be easily obtained from the San Francisco airport. There are two minigun pickups in LV that can be picked up in the beg. of the game. I use them all the time on the PS2, but on PC since I use the Chain Game saves, I can just go to the LA Armory and pick up the minigun with 1500 rounds each time and all the guns in the game-lol.

 

About the area names, sorry that is what it says on my game, since I use the Real Names mod. But I think it is understandable what I meant if you are familier with the real life Los Angeles.? But good job on clarifying the actual in-game names.

I'll travel there,since i've now found out blowing it up before the ballas come out prevents the glitch happening.
