Pico
Had no clue this thread was here, boy am I slow! I actually just got an invite from a friend and set it up today. I''ve got 8 invites to start with... my friend had 20 so I don't understand why I've only got 8. Maybe because my gmail account is relatively new and barely used? Anyways, I'll probably be able to hand some invites out but I've got to talk to some friends first. As for Wave, it has tons of uses but it being in Beta form is limiting it a lot. I think integration with other websites would help a lot more. Mainly Facebook and possibly Myspace. Shouldn't be too hard, you'd just need to install a Facebook type thing similar to the apps for cell phones so it could read all the info and stuff. But I did find myself signing up, logging in and just closing the tab moments later. I know everything it's capable of, having watched the video that came out on initial release, but I don't really have a use for it as of yet. kingvercetti
deergomoo at gmail dot com I'm pretty curious about this so an invite would be appreciated. As for the apparent uselessness, maybe it would be more useful in a business environment? At least that's the vibe I got from the videos, it looked like its main purpose was real-time project collaboration.

Pico
One thing they didn't mention in the original video I saw was the use in schools. It could have great results used there. Teachers could control Waves on a per class basis. Some schools are starting to require laptops for all students and even provide them. This would be perfect for that as you can collaborate or edit your notes as you'd like, keep discussions going outside of class, update students on things quickly... an almost limitless possibility for school purposes. TheGuyFromThere
I have 3 invites and anybody who wishes may email me their email. I won't be checking this topic to send invites. Personally, I think it would be smart just simply to merge it with gmail but at the same time, this is exactly how gmail was when it was first released. Sure, it cought on quicker as it was email but once this goes fully live then it'll be very popular. Plus there are definite uses for this - I for one can see the obvious benefits of this for business. Again, 3 invites left. PM me emails. inactive

Pico
People with regular email services (gmail, hotmail, yahoo mail, etc) won't have interactive emails I supposed. I'm sure you can send emails back and forth but it won't either allow Wave edits to the email, or it just won't be interactive on the other person with out Wave's end.
