synchro_w Posted November 23, 2009 Share Posted November 23, 2009 i just completed 'shadow' mission. was about to jump cab to go home to save game when i get a text from LJ about work and , i think, anothr text about him wanting to be friends and going out for fun so i agreed, picked him up to play darts, got drunk[???], tried to drive car, got chased twice by cops - first time niko WAS drunk [lost them tho], 2nd time i tried driving as i seemed sober, controller wasn't vibrating, but cops did the DUI again even tho LJ and niko weren't drunk as far as i could see. anyway, i lost that star too. dumped the car. took a taxi and couldn't find LJs destination home. so i took him to a strip club. left, got another taxi, STILL no LJ listing in the taxi so took him for a burger. another taxi and still no LJ destination listing!?!?! what am i supposed to do with him? just keep getting drunk or driving around? i guess i have to take him to every place possible cos he just won't go away. didn't seem to enjoy the strip club but liked the darts [ie, gettig drunk]. i keep hitting pause and his house name is just not there on the map. can someone please tell me where i should take him to get rid of him? i haven't saved in ages and i have an awful lot of ordinance i dont wanna lose and a lot of missions unsaved [i always trawl maps for ordinance early on so i can get used to the weapon uses]. i should say, i cannot remember where he lives.. possibly schottler? thnx ps. taxi fares are really eating into my cash. i had over a grand but that's well under now. You can take each friend to 4 different activities. They will probably complain about the activities that weren't arranged with them, but you can still take them there. As for Jacob, it might be a bug. Just kill him and he will later appear on the hospital. No big deal. Or then just reload the more recent save game you have. Unless you had turned autosave off, you won't lose any progress if you load the game. Don't know what triggers it, you take them somewhere and after that, their house/destination won't appear on the map. Yeah just do what Hydro said. synchro_w Posted November 25, 2009 Author Share Posted November 25, 2009 whoa! if i kill little jacob won't my ratings with himm drop drastically? can't imagine him laughing off an uzi burst! i took him to darts first and we didn't play... we just got plastered. anyway, as it turned out, i took him to the pool hall but there was no way he wanted to play or anything cos there was no symbol there so jumped back on the bike [finally the booze wore off so no cops chasing me for DUIs anymore] took him to the cluckin bell and THEN [FINALLY!!!!!!!] he wanted home [seraphim? i deffo know where the pool hall is cos there's a micro smg behind it that i visit regularly to top up.. i had 1000 ammo before i got to kill vlad.. it's soethig i always do with GTA games.. i race around grabbing ammo and armour doing one or two missions along the way]. that had to be the most expensive nght out. he ate $175 worth of chicken alone at cluckin bell!!! talk about the munchies! i alway thought fast food was real cheap in the USA.. not like here in UK where it cost £5 for some soggy pos. he he, i just had a thought.. they should do GTA [or TDA as they call it here] based in uk! but it would be the most boring game ever cos the CCTVs are EVERYWHERE! u pick yer nose in UK and a wagonload of armed cops turn up and arrest you for anti social behaviour. also, i should say, i turn auto save off cos i often go on rampages to try out weapons etc. my biggest fear is a cop nabs me before killing me when i'm doing this and i lose all those weapons i took hours collecting!! coming out of hospial seems to let me keep my guns [is this cos of dating michelle i wonder? in the same way as certain gfs helped u out in GTASA?] thnx for all the help anyways, guys ps, murrchachos? it's not 'dating' little jacob. it's the same as taking roman to a strip club or pool. win their friendship, get some perks. kinda like in life really. it's a nice touch to the game i think. tho i gotta admit, LJ didn't seem to like the strip club. i think he said "you go enjoy yerself, mon" and sat down. just as well... strip club is long way away to pay $50 to have some bird not even give u a handjob [he he]. If you accidentally pull into a bar or restaurant that wasn't in the original plan you have to go on to the original activity afterward to get through the outing.
