The Streets Of Rage Series.

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, anyone remember / still play the Streets Of Rage series?

For me, I have a SEGA emulator, and I still play all 3 quite alot. I also have the remake, which is damn awesome, you can have a CPU follow you around instead of a second player.

Anyways, what's your favourite game/character/fighting move etc?

I used to think I was one of a small minority that ever played the game, but the game was actually quite a big hit.

For me, my favourite game was number 3, the fact you could run, do special moves with weapons etc was awesome. It was also alot harder than the first 2, even on easy mode. I loved playing as Axel, doing that uppercut move rules.

2 was the best in my opinion. 1 had those police cars that helped you, 2 was perfect, 3 was kinda weird for me. Maybe I'm not used to change.

Yeah man 3 was really weird, fighting lots of robots and the brain that controlled that massive robot was too weird. I definetely liked 2 the best. Wide range of moves/enemies/bosses to keep on occupying you.

Oh man SOR got my wife fired from a job once. She had a bad addiction to it. I never ever got to play our sega back then. She thought she was Blaze.

haha awesome man. I used to think I was Axel when I was younger, sliding around on my knees shouting "Retapa!" or whatever he says xD.
