Β Far Cry 3 is awesome because the gameplay is awesome. I still can't wrap my head around the fact that anyone would give a sh*t about the characters or the story. it's so irrelevant. It makes great character development and story telling when characters cannot even look at the protagonist the same way anymore. It is about character growth. Β Growth, Decay and Transformation. Clapton was an alcoholic and Earnhardt loves his drugs. Β As for what people were saying about Brody. I think Brody wasn't annoying at all, really. I mean he didn't complain, he spoke little. That's what GTA needs for a protag. Everyone (even me) complained about either CJ or Niko whining.. in the words of Tony Soprano; "Whatever happened to the strong, silent type!?"
