JohnPro
I dont think its a problem with your Limits. Check to see if the mod uses ENB Series (looks like it does). If you dont know what this is then please check your vice city directory and remove the following files d3d9.dll and enbseries.ini. cold fusion 33
Yeah, the Enb series you are using will slow the game down like hell. Try adjusting your "enbseries.ini" in your VC root folder, or ask here for some advice on how to get the game to run better: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=314556&st=9180 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/432692-extremly-modded-gta/#findComment-1059637184 Share on other sites
FATAL!
It laggs when I use ENB Series, ofc. But, also it laggs when ENB is OFF, when def. Vice engine is in memory. Then I have sudden slowdowns sometimes up to 2fps which is really irritating... Does this have to do anything with Streaming Memory, or DEFINE MEMORY in MAIN.SCM, because that script is modded a lot, too. JohnPro
I hate to say it but your video card isnt necessarily top end its more low end actually probably designed for laptops. Anyway you can still try to play around with the streaming memory It wont hurt and I have forgotten all of these vice city things. I HOPE it is because of my graphics card, because I am going to copy this expansion to a lot of ppl, they are waiting it for more than a year, and I don't want it to be an unoptimised sh*t. And one more thing, I noticed, that when I move all files : d3d8.dll d3d9.dll d3dx9_26.dll effect.txt enbconverter & enbseries.cfg GGMM.exe GTAINTERFACE.dll vc_gfx.cfg vc_carref.asi vc_speclight.asi vc_traffic.cfg vc_traffic.asi vcversion.dll from root of Vice into some other folder, it doesn't lag at all. I don't think that ENB is the only cause. Maybe VC_TRAFFIC is a jam, bcz when I remove it, even ENB is more stabile. And I need all of them to work together, so maybe exe is too weak to support all that memory streaming, so i thought it's a problem with the limits.... Edited November 18, 2009 by FATAL!
